Absolutely awful. We booked a taxi in the afternoon ready for the evening when we were catching up with friends. We were a bit paranoid after hearing about bad experiences from friends so called twice to confirm. Taxi never turned up. Called apple to ask where they were. No acknowledgement of booking. Booked another. This never showed. Booked yet another. This never showed. Worst service ever received what a joke. Don’t even bother booking with these guys as they are as much use as an infected mosquito bite and probably even less pleasant.
Last week I had an accident and needed to get to A&E. I called Apple for a taxi, which arrived in minutes. The driver was really helpful, and even got me a wheelchair when we reached A&E. I then had several taxis to and from Weston Hospital throughout the week, and every switchboard operator and driver continued to give a great service. I would not hesitate to recommend.
Rang for a taxi, the price went up half way through the journey - we had changed a stop because the driver was going to another destination which was MUCH further away than where we were actually going- so the price should have gone down if anything. We spoke to the operator about this male, very rude who then after being rather passive aggressive on the phone sent messages to the cab driver about us whilst we were in the cab, in full view of us! Driver was fine, was not his fault but was dealt with terribly by the guy in the office. I wouldn't have left a review if he hadn't sent messages to the driver in front of us- real professional.
The driver and the customer service are both mentally retarded. I booked the service in the morning, but the driver did not stop at the place I chose, and the second time the driver disappeared after charging in advance and did not come to pick me up. It was booked with Uber. When I called customer service, I asked to cancel the trip. The customer service asked me to call Uber to cancel. After I asked and argued, the customer service can still cancel it for me. Since the customer service can cancel it for me, why waste my time and let me Call Uber? Stupid customer service.
Cant use a zero. Those that are disabled are disregarded. Unable to a get a taxi due to the entire firm being non inclusive. Those that requires wheelchairs are obviously only allowed out a few hrs of the day. God forbid they need hospital appointments that run after school runs. Its ok i will walk my ill dad 3 miles to the hospital buses are hit and miss for my dads mood in awful weather, god forbid we have a decent taxi service that can ensure people make appointments.
Worst company ever booked a taxi 13:33 asked for taxi straight away told no probs be there as soon as possible. Locked up started walking down stairs with case and bags put bins back in the gates. Looked at phone missed call 13:41 Apple taxis 13:43 you taxi has been and gone…. How can a taxi been and gone when I hear waiting ? Have to book another …. While waiting a taxi pulls up, oh I came for you but was sent further up the road you need to book another thinking g this was my new taxi. 14:05 still waiting for taxi to station Train missed as goes in 5 mins…. No taxis turned up come 14:15. Worst company ever and need to sort them self out. Sooner Uber here or a decent firm that can work with customers the better !
My daughter pre booked a taxi to get to work. Called for the second time for an update 24 minutes after the agreed pickup to be told that she was not a priority……didn’t realise you run a priority list. Would be keen to know what is the criteria for this list. I had to return home to drop her to work. Very poor service as this was pre-booked with 2 hours notice.
Called up to book a taxi for later in the day and was rudely told on the phone we cannot pre book taxis and have to call up when we need it. Downloaded the app and pre booked a 6 seater taxi on there, showed up on time but was not a 6 seater! Half of our party was left stranded. The driver tried to sort it and was very apologetic but doesn’t make up for the fact the operator was extremely rude and we did not get what we booked.
Very polite friendly driver got me to my destination safely and I felt relaxed will definitely use them again if I need a taxi very impressed with the service
Booked a taxi for 5.30pm at 5.45pm I called to see where the taxi was. Was told they were waiting for the driver to arrive so they could dispatch Taxi arrived just after 6pm. Also quote online said it would be 43.50 charged from weston super mare to pick up clevedon then pill then into bristol 63.50. Would of been good to have known of the increase.
