Uplift is frequent, trails are well maintained, bike shop has well priced spares, cafe is better than expected. I just love how sessionable this place is. Bomb down, back up, repeat. Not the most challenging of trails but it's still really fun.
Had my second visit here yesterday. What a place. Fantastic trails and scenery, fast uplift and delicious food. Definitely one of the best trail centres in the UK, can't wait to go back.

Love this bike park. Uplift is so quick with no waiting on a weekday and the runs are a great length. All trails from green to black are brilliant, bike shop has a few essentials incase you forget or damage something, and the cafe next door serves great food. Can't wait to return
Great trail centre if you're into DH and jumps - plus some quite flowy trails. Uplift service was super quick and efficient, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Tracks all pretty well made, and lots to choose from. Personally I prefer some more natural trails, and I'm not great at jumps so I did find it a little limited on that front - but can't complain, good day out on the bike! Views are killer too!
Quickest uplift out there. Well worth the fee even on wet days! Great selection of trails. I would say always wear full face here as your sure to pick up plenty of speed.
I've tried a few uplift days, but believe this is the best so far. The advice and help from the centre, uplift speed, chat with the uplift driver all helped to make the day a great experience. Good weather is important if you are a soft southerner like me, but anyway I loved the contrast of the red technical features and the blue flowing and speedy trails, Don't feel intimidated by the thought of just downhill rigs at Antur, you need a level of ability on a bike for sure, but on the day we went, others had enduro big travel bikes, full sus trail, modern hardtails and old school hardtails. Everyone sharing the blues, red and black trails blacks require full face helmet. If you're in the area and want all the fun part of mountain biking without the hard uphill slog I highly recommend Antur.
Not recommended, unless you live in the area and have no other option. Pros and cons are: + Nice personal + Spacious car park + Scenic view from the hill - way to pricy for the service - not 14 trails but rather 4 with a few options - not very diverse trails. All look the same - strange tempo of trails: some jumps you never make, some always go to the flat - all trails have only loose gravel/grit some also loads of loose schist plates. Very scetchy to ride. - with all the loose gravel and schist the park is a tire and frame destroyer - drivers won't shuttle unless there are at least two persons. With a quite afternoon I was there on a Sunday! it happens, that you wait quit a while alone in the shuttle. Why the hack do they even bother to have 2 shuttles? 20 uplifts were promoted on the website. I only managed to squeeze in 10.
Always a great days riding. My favourite uplift as all the trails end at the same place and right by the bus for the next run. Cafe is brilliant and very good value. The Antur Steiniog team are a dedicated bunch who make it their mission to make sure you have an awesome day they don't have mystical powers over the weather....it is mountain in Wales after all!
Epic adventure if you love mountain biking. Cafe serves fabulous food too and does allow dogs for the family members not brave enough to throw themselves down a mountain!
