It was a pleasure to provide forklift training to the staff at Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council. Safety is a top priority at their site, which is kept clean and tidy.
Carnminey and the general newtownabbey areas now look like a third world country.nThe weeds are as high as an elephants eyeto quote a song, and obviously the general deterioration of pavements, road edges and neat tidy areas have all fallen into a total mess.nPlease waken up counsellors and start ensuring things improve dramatically
Went on the Newtownabbey way walk with my two children. Little area with soldier monument and poppy field, with recreated trench. Lots of info boards about it. Carved bench and trees along the walk, further in past a river and mini waterfalls. Wellies and forests! Great
Bin men and kerbie men NEVER put bins back to driveways. Lazy ignorant men. Bins always up the street.
Always been dealt with quickly when contacting the office. If visiting - loads of parking, but can be all taken at the front of the building - so may have to park at the very back of the site. Beautiful area for a walk - especially on a nice day!! Views over the Mossley Dam - the historic building and the walk into the park way out the back. There is a coffee shop on site - plus the museum & theatre.
