Average green king pub. Sadly for every good meal we’ve enjoyed here we’ve had a two terrible meals. Such a shame the food isn’t consistent. Sadly I won’t take the risk now and avoid the antelope for dining. The bar is ok and it has a large covered outside area with heat lamps for those chilly evenings. Overall it’s not particularly bad, it’s just not great enough of the time either.

stayed here navy years so close to harbour. I love it wrong used to come when children with our parents in a caravan in the 1960. Christchurch too .now I'm older I like to come back memories of such happy beside the seaside beside the sea 😊😀😉😂

The breakfast is salubrious. The location is perfect. A walk away to the Harbour, hosteleries, restaurants, pubs, and shops. Very welcoming staff. Lovely snuggly bed. Massive bathroom. Car parking is a trial. We were lucky with the space we had, and, once parked, we didn't get back in the car!! 😄

The staff were brilliant . Careing. And friendly to the customers last night .and not for getting me too. Lol. They helpped ppl that had not booked a table and improvised on bringing the snug tables in for them to have a meal. Marveles indeed id recommend this to place to every one that I no and to who ever reads this . Its the place to be in poole no doubt about it well done girls. See you soon .

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Reasonably priced food. Room very warm and comfortable. Great location just off Poole Quay and in the heart of the Old Town. Highly recommend.
