ANTA is a special place if you’re into their chic, modern Scottish country style. Here you can browse the entire range of pottery, furniture, fabrics and other desirable household things. There’s a good cafe too and the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. It’s all online of course, there are shops too,but the Highland headquarters is the heart and a great pit stop off the A9
It is what it is and that's very highly priced pottery and fabrics. A small cafe served lovely coffee by a really nice staff member lady from Guernsey. Will I go back? Possibly, to use the cafe and loos.
Beautifully handcrafted pottery, in all ranges of colour to suit everyone. Softly snuggly throws and scarves Freshly baked goods in the cafè with local highland roast coffee's! Homemade soup and toasties - yummy.
It is really good to see Anta, Tain fully up and running again and with our visit there in Saturday coinciding with their sale being on was an added bonus. The cafe is now run as a family concern and we could not have been made more welcome. We sampled Lucia’s home made soup and home baking which were delicious. A house speciality is their green tea and honey with it’s medicinal benefits. Her daughters ably provided table service with a smile and friendly banter. My wife and I enjoyed the experience so much living the dream on the Saturday that we coincided another visit on the Sunday at lunchtime to partake of more freshly made home fair. A great place to visit for pottery and fabric, with the added bonus of a cafe. Anta's design language is well known and it's clear you could design almost every aspect of your home with the modern tweedy fabrics and the stoneware designs on offer. It's a large shop with plenty of space for browsing and some well designed sections for different aspects of interior design. It was clear from my visit that the shop is also used as a consultation area with several desks and staff available and working.
Along with my wife and our dog we enjoyed a good nosey around the shop, beautifully laid out and much to admire,tartan rugs,scarves,blankets,pottery and a lovely dog friendly cafe, we will be back in the next day or two.

I've only been there once,but that's all it took, to get hooked on ANTA! The pottery is not only great looking, it is functional and long lasting. Even with grandchildren. Thank you Anta! Cynthia Walker Tennessee, USA.
One of the cashiers was really quite rude. Very snotty and impolite in the manner I heard her talking to her customer's. Very overpriced but nice goods.
