Had a lovely morning round at this beautiful course. It has a full, challenging 18 holes with the option to play the front or back 9 from the club house if you only want to play 9 holes. Positioned lovely as a course and the description hits the nail on the head. Some of the best greens I've played. Travelled 2 hours to get there and was not disappointed. Also the staff were helpful and very polite. Would definitely visit again
Absolutely fantastic little course ‍.. Definitely well worth a visit.. Will highly recommend it...!! Helpful and friendly staff.. Good food and beer just what you need after 18 holes
Ansty golf club has a lot of reviews some good and some bad and because of some of the bad times Ive had there and not just my golf game I have avoided the course. However the course is now under new management and I have to say it looks like they know what they are doing when it comes to golf courses. We had our society day there and the staff where great they where polite, friendly and helpful. The course has been trimmed right back to make it more user friendly even though I still managed to find plenty of trouble. The greens have had a lot of work done to them and full marks to the new green keeper/ keepers they also know what they are doing. They did inform us that the greens sprinkler system was not working and some of the greens where a little dry but they where waiting on some new parts to update the sprinkler system. There was also a sign outside the club house stating a new clubhouse will be coming soon. In 12 months this course will look and play like most of the best around. Well done to the new management team you have done a lot in a short space of time thats making a big difference. Keep up the good work and we will defiantly be seeing our society again soon. ‍ Update 22/12/22 - since I last played, the course has defiantly become more user friend. All of the really long game destroying grass has been cut right back and the tree lines have been reshaped. The greens are in mint condition considering all of the rain we have had and its obvious that there is more to come with this course. The staff yet again where friendly and welcoming and I am really starting to enjoy playing there. #membership . ‍
Arrived here for the first time today played with 3 others as a 4 ball. We arrived to find the car park was in very bad condition loads of pot holes and in general bad condition. This was alarming considering we payed good money to play here when other courses in the area are at a similar price and lot better condition as no changing facility were available. Club house very tired and dated. We had to check into our round at the bar as there didn’t seem to be a pro shop on site. Course itself was very wet fairways in terrible condition and all green apart from the 18th was holding a lot of water. Almost making it unplayable. Bunkers were full of stones and cheap sand that had turned to clay in the rain. Temp tee on almost every hole we’re old ranges mats that could do with scraping full on holes and put on uneven ground. This course has a very municipal feel to it but they expect you to play top money to play here. If considering a golf game with friends in the Coventry area I would seriously consider looking elsewhere for the money. We feel other review on here are for long standing members or members of staff giving false information.
Great course, fair ways getting better and greens much better. Some great work going in. Issue is they stack the tees. To many high handicappers on the course at once which is fine but stretch the tee times. Waiting 5 to 10 mins at every tee is not fun.
Everytime I have gone to Ansty since it has been under new management it has been outstanding in all aspects, from the staff all the way to the condition of the course. Looking forward to the refurbishment of the club house and driving range. I would happily get a membership here in the future. New owners doing a cracking job.
Great place. The new management is looking after the course very well. Greens and fairways is good shape except when is minus 8 degrees hehehe! Friendly staff and members. I definitely recommend.
It is a great course. Its my local and the value for money is great but a few suggestions from me: 1- sort the range out. It's horrendous and dangerous for people on the 18th Hole as the nets are now mostly down. 2- put lines for actual parking. Second time I have been blocked in by people and had to ask about to find who had blocked me in. 3- close the course when the weather is too bad. Went around 2 weeks ago and the course should 100% have been closed. I dread to think the work the grounds men will have to put in for all the damage caused .
Great experience today.... My friend booked a round for the two of us online but made the mistake of booking it for Friday and Not Saturday when we turned up as we thought....The lady in the clubhouse spotted the mistake and allowed us to play anyway. I know a lot of golf courses would've said tough you need to pay again as you mis-booked ...
Decent course, but it is let down by how backed up the course is. 3 hours to do 9 holes, queuing for each tee box, really takes the fun out of a round.
