Amazing place to have a bite to eat. Friendly staff, very efficient, huge portions, great value for money! We come every time we are in Cornwall! Children's menu is fab!
We arrived without booking, the ample parking area was looking very busy and as we approached the building there was a steady stream of visitors entering the building. Despite being very busy we were able to get a table for 4 without any issues. The service was great, portion sizes were very generous, great quality reasonably priced. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, some of the decor was starting to look a little tired but the pictures of the local area distracted from it. They had an area where they sold local produce which also seemed popular. A great eatery set in a beautiful surroundings.
I took my Mom and best friend here for lunch today and WOW! The best roast I’ve ever tasted apart from my own! We all thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a kids portion and still left some!! Every meal that came out of the kitchen looked awesome! The servers were amazing, even though they were so very busy I understand why now! Louis Tea Room is definitely on my visit list next time I’m here! Thank you all
Great food, Great service. I came across Louis tea rooms recently whilst visiting Kits hill. Plenty of seating inside and outside With beautiful views across the open countryside. Well worth a visit, the food is great and very reasonably priced. Many thanks to all the great staff. Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, including a nut roast. Parking: Plenty of parking on the days i have visited. Wheelchair accessibility: I am quite disabled and used the ramp, although I'm not a wheelchair user. I Can't imagine it being difficult to gain access in a wheelchair. Dietary restrictions: I am vegetarian and there was plenty to choose from.
Oh my god the best Cream Tea in Cornwall bar none. Its a must.
Great views and place to see some lovely bikes. Food took forever, even though not busy when ordered. Will definitely go again as it may have been a bad day for someone.Food: 3/5
Nearby where we live so it's a regular visit.Great food, great views on a good day. Always busy and that points to the fact it's very affordable, good quality every day food. You must try!Food: 5/5
We love coming here. Fabulous food and lovely staff. Sadly, a victim of their own success as it gets extremely busy with some long waits, but it's so worth the wait. Food: 5/5
Great place, with great home cooked style comfort food and wonderful staff. Everyone is so helpful and personable. Definitely worth a visit.Food: 5/5
What a fantastic find. We're staying at Homicombe Holiday Park who sadly don't cater for our Coeliac daughter. The bar staff recommended Louis' Café and we're thrilled they did. My daughter had a HUGE choice of gluten dinner options, inc. burgers +GF bun curries, chilli, all day breakfast chip made in a gluten free fryer and there's a gluten free cream tea....CREAM TEA . Didn't have room for puddings but there was the choice of bread and butter pudding, sticky toffee and brownies all gluten free. As we had dogs with us we had to sit outside but the views are too spectacular to go sit inside anyway. We went back THREE TIMES as we simply had to have the amazing looking GF Cream Tea too. Thank you for making a Coeliac teen feel included, welcome and very happy indeed.
