What a wonderful place. The house has been kept very much untouched for the most part. There is plenty to read and learn. The staff was very enthusiastic and pleasant. They did ask if I was interested in a combination ticket with Lewes Castle too. I had just been to Lewes Castle where they did not tell me about this option. The little tea room in the house too was lovely

A bit of a letdown. House has been cleared and doesn't show what it really would have looked like. The gardens are manicured and don't have any vegetables growing.nHow this is supposed to represent where 22 people lived when Anne rented the place out, is beyond me.

A fascinating, very interesting old dwelling. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Visited on a 'free' entrance day so it was quite crowded. Lots of info on laminated cards to show how Tudor folk lived plus some comtemporary furniture, which should be better protected to dtop it being damaged. Some of the exhibits looked a bit 'tired'. The layout was rather confusing too, a clearer route through the house and garden might help as we ended up going back on ourselves.  There's also a cafe serving drinks and snacks.

You can see about 4 rooms of Anne of Cleves 15th century house though note she probably never lived here. There are quite a few stairs, and it’s a bit of an odd layout. However, there are interesting items and signs about the house’s history, architectural style, and items from the time period.nnTickets: They offer a combined ticket with Lewes Castle, and if you gift aid your ticket it is good for the year.nnFacilities: They have a small shop, clean toilets, and a cafe though we did not visit these
