A pleasant venue that doesn't really start warming up until after the pubs close. On Friday and Saturdays it is very dependent on the type and quality of the band playing. There is always a DJ playing in the upstairs room though. The clientele is quite lively and hen groups are a plenty which is ok if you like that kind of thing.
Decent live music to suit a variety of tastes ranging from blues to pop covers, friendly staff, drinks fair price. Attracts clientele of all ages but leans towards 30 somethings upwards hence it's obvious popularity. Door staff fair and friendly. Definitely recommended
Was there last night and the place upstairs stank of stale piss!! It was disgusting! Can’t believe I paid to get into your establishment to feel sick . The music was erratic also, DJ, was having an off night perhaps. Hopefully the carpets and sofa will undergo cleaning before opening again to the public. Annabel’s is usually a safe decent enough place to go to on a night out but it’s gone swiftly downhill!!!
The best club in Plymouth for over 21s. Quality live music, burlesque and a DJ make this a must visit. Always something different going on. Friendly atmosphere and open 'til late at weekends David
Fun, relaxed venue. Have a wide variety of bands and comedy nights. Two dance floors offer a choice for people with different tastes.
I love going here! great music, great prices for drinks and a cool funk atmosphere.
Love the music but never enough room to dance. The staff work hard but could always do with extra staff to help out. Nice to have outside undercover to cool off.
Great venue for live music. Sadly only opens 3 nights a week! Plus side - 2 for 1 on Cocktails before 11pm!
Great place had a really good night but left my phone there now cant get hold of anyone till friday
Having been here any times I was amazed to be turned away for wearing sandals for Health & Safety reasons despite my girlfriend and girlfriends wearing similar footwear. As s result over 30 people left or didn't attempt to gain entry. Even the doorman looked surprised when l pointed out a handful of girls wearing "less safe' footwear, but 'rules is rules.' Embarrassing.
