I am writing this email under my wife's google account although the purchase was in my name Tim W. About the worst purchasing experience I have had. Almost impossible to contact the company for a couple of weeks as both the computers were down and the phone lines. I thought they were going out of business. Eventually I did get hold of them and was promised a delivery date--- no delivery. I was promised another and waited in all day, again no delivery. I was told they are very busy, nice to know that their time is valuable whilst mine is clearly not. I have now cancelled my order and will buy from John Lewis. This is a real shame as I try to support small businesses, but frankly when a business is run as badly as this one they simply do not deserve the support. I would definitely not recommend anyone buy from them, it is not worth all the stress. I continue to have problems with this business. On the 4th July I cancelled my order as was told I would have the refund processed immediately. A week later I wrote to AB and asked where it was. I received a reply saying it was being sent for processing. It took one day to process my payment, so I was not sure why it was taking so long to process my repayment. Anyway on the 10th July I advised them that I expected my refund to be in my account within a week otherwise I would seek redress through the credit card company. No surprise I suppose but no refund forthcoming, and no reply to that email or any other since then. Finally I have given up and asked the credit card company to refund me. It is now the 26rd July. This just reinforces my views that this company has no customer service and I would advise caution when dealing with it. Certainly don't pay for anything until you get the goods. Tim W
Beware all SHOPPERS!!!! Do not buy from Ankle Biters, Sheffield!!!! I made a telephone order back in March for Stokke Junior Bed Ext and after numerous phone calls of empty promises for delivery. I never got my goods delivered and I am left with having to go back to my bank to try to get my money back. So once again if you value your hard earned cash DO NOT GO TO ANKLE BITERS who will rob you!!!!
Never buy anything of this store...they sell things on line they do not have in stock and then take forever to refund money, quoting every excuse in the book for delaying payments. My favorite excuse was that it was my responsibility to check something they have on the site is in stock before I placed the order....order was placed 6 weeks ago, still no refund..you have been warned...avoid!!!!!
Terrible experience twice with these people, do not buy anything from here. they dont have anythign in stock and have kept numerouse new mums waiting for theri goods. very bad experience and im not the only one. Now there website is down and the telephone number is no longer active, and i'm still waiting for my pram, grrrrrr
