What can I say, Friendly staff, great service, nice decor & food was amazing! I had popadoms & pickle tray which was very nice then chicken tikka starter, cooked spot on. The chicken jalfrezi was excellent & I loved the garlic naan bread mmm. The perfect drink for curry is cobra lager which I had too. All in all Anise is worthy of 5 stars & I will definitely return.
Usually lovely with great food but until that waiter with the glasses learns some manners I won't be going back. I asked for poppadoms whilst deciding on main course and his reply was "il take your order for that when you've decided on your mains,it's much easier for me that way" and got asked if we were leaving soon as they were closing-at half past 9.was rude last time we all went but thought we'd try again. Still no manners.
I love curry and this place consistently gets it right. The staff are friendly and the food is tasty. I know if I order a dish it will be the same as it was last time I ordered it. Never had a bad meal from here. I just wished they served lassi.Food: 5/5
What to say about this Indian restaurant...... One word, Amazing! The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated, and the tables were beautifully dressed. The staff were ALL well presented and very chatty and polite, and we had a really nice chat with the waiter. The food came out in a good amount of time and was beautiful! The "spicy tomatoe" part of the pickle tray instead of a lime/dill pickle was amazing. Not too spicy either. We ate the lot. I recommend the Chicken Kashmiri so long as you like banana and chicken together, don't judge. it's a fantastic combo the drinks were so reasonable too. £3 for a whiskey in a restaurant seems cheap to me. Anyway, I'm babbling. My mother-in-law had a fantastic birthday meal out, and all 4 of us would recommend this place for a meal if you're in the Wrexham or even Chester area! Parking: They have a carpark for guests around the back.

Living in Spain this is my first time back here in a few years. Still a great place to enjoy a curry, excellent menu, fantastic food and great service. A throughly enjoyable evening.
Whilst the venue and decor are a little odd, you can not fault the food and the service. Our party had a wide variety of dishes and all were superb. We had a young baby in our party and the staff were absolutely lovely with her and her parents. They topped of an excellent birthday meal with a surprise indoor firework and complimentary shot....very dramatic!! Car parking to the rear. Take care leaving the roundabout for the car park, on coming traffic never seems to expect cars to be entering the car park.
Amazing food, amazing prices! We really really enjoyed the food and the portions are huge! We had to wait a bit of a time for our mains to come but the food made up for it. Great service too. We definitely will be back :
