I ventured into Angling Direct a few days ago and spoke to Tony, the advice l was given and help to look at gear was superb and could not have been better, l explained my situation to Tony, he told me he fully understand and gave me all the time l required to make my decision on possible purchases.nToday l returned and was introduced to Gary, he was another font of knowledge and he showed me what l was interested in and advised/helped me to buy the ideal and suitable terminal tackle to get fishing and a line in the water. I cannot thank him and the other lads in the shop for their unwavering help, advice and knowledge to assist me to walk out of the shop knowing I only required some bait and l was set up to go fishing. Sadly, due to prior engagements, my next visit to get some bait will have to wait a few days.n11/10 from me guys. Brilliant, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you.
Great tackle shop. Friendly and helpful staff.nRegular good deals on, with a great selection overall. All the major brands covered.nWell located, close to major routes in the North. Just what you would expect from a nationwide shop chain located within 25 miles of your doorstep.nGood online ordering system, reliably posted out to your own home. They could only improve the online store by a postcode based local store item availability search function, similar to Argos or B&Q.
Went to order a small end tackle item costing £12.99 and clicked the Apple Pay option on the online website. Then realised I had been charged £10 for delivery.n£10 for delivery it outrageous considering it was a tiny item and wasn’t even next day. I purchased thinking I had free delivery with my yearly myAD membership but this appears to have changed.
Great friendly service couldn’t help younenough. Are first experience going there andnthe help and explanation. Specially Gary
