On a very blustery day. We found this little treasure in Babbacombe. Loved the quirky decor. Beautiful home made warmed scones, just like my grandmother used to make. Generous amounts of clotted cream. Real leaf tea which was also delicious, all served on vintage crockery. We had also ordered cake , but we were rather full. So it was boxed to bring home. Courteous staff. Loved it. If were down this way again. I certainly will be trying one of their lunches.
This was recommended, so I took my Mum to Angels for a celebration cream tea for her birthday. The staff were pleasant, efficient and helpful. It was haloween and the decorations created a fun ambience! I would also recommend before visiting Babbacombe model village, a short distance along the road.Food: 5/5
Absolutely gorgeous afternoon tea. We hadn't booked but turned up and were sat immediately at an outdoor table. The scones were warm and delicious! Great prices too.
Absolutely the best tea room in torbay. They do the most amazing scones, tasty sandwiches and delicious hot chocolate. You must visit angels when you visit torquay. Make sure you book in advance though especially during the summer season Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available Kid-friendliness: Children allowed inside the cafe and also in the grounds. Wheelchair accessibility: Cafe on ground floor and no steps to get in. Big double doors that will open for access for wheelchair and buggies. Large open area to the toilets.
Absolutely delicious scones, served fresh and warm with lots of flavours to choose from. The fresh orange was made using an orange squeezing machine so it's a fresh as it can get.
Fantastic afternoon tea,didn't book but managed to fit us in. Well worth a visit,staff very helpful.
Nice smily welcome. Great cup of tea. 1x breakfast on toast and one full English. Cooked perfectly, delicious. Highly recommend.
Wonderful afternoon tea with superb views. The staff were very busy but were very friendly. The scones are huge and very filling. Had the ginger scone with the ginger jam. This is worth a try.
Loved my visit today for coffee and cake. Seems like lots of others like it too as they had booked their tables in advance indoors and in the dome. Not to worry, it wasn't raining so we sat outside under a heat lamp which amusingly reminded me of a chick brooder lamp Generous cake portions thank you very much. Choice of scones on the menu was phenomenal. Have to return but will book a table to avoid disappointment. Staff very friendly. All in all a good experience
This place is a great place to relax and enjoy some great food. The staff are friendly and accommodating even at the busiest times and presentation of the food was iconic. Great place to relax and spend an afternoon.
