We had trouble booking as we couldn’t get through on the phone, but having taken the decision to wing it, we’re glad we did. The staff member unfortunately I didn’t get his name ensured we were seated and got our food order in before a large group, so there was no major wait at all, and the food which came out was great - large portions, great taste, and we left feeling very satisfied. Couple this with the historic building and the scenic location well, if you look in the direction of Kenfig Dunes/the church and not the M4, this is well worth a visit.
Nice coastal pub serving good food. Friendly staff. It's wise to book a table as it gets busy always a good sign!. Recommended!

Had a great meal with Hubby , our 2 dogs were more than welcome, staff were lovely, atmosphere lovely, great food.
2 for £15 lunch menu or main menu both worth a look at. Met at the door and sat immediately. Great service and great food. I had meatballs about a dozen on linguine in spicy tomato sauce with melted cheese on top with garlic bread. DH had belly pork with veg and mash. Mash was a bit dry- maybe instant? But everything else gorgeous.
Really had a great time. Booking was easy and the food was hearty. Quick and friendly service with good selection on the menu. Nicely priced and child friendly. Easy to get to with a nice little car park. Thanks @TheAngel
Hubby and I had 2 fantastic meals here this evening. Thoroughly recommend rib eye steak myself. Hubby had cow pie absolutely stunning. Quick service too despite being very busy. Will defo be back.
Excellent Sunday lunch, good value and very tasty
Had lunch there today. Food was excellent, as always, as was the service. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome. Lovely pub in a lovely setting
Fabulous place to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal, children welcome great service and price definitely recommend.
