The fish and chips at this shop were absolutely fantastic—some of the freshest I’ve had in a long time. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the chips were golden and flavorful. It’s easily one of the best I’ve had in a while, and I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area!
I’m writing this review on behalf of my dad.nHe’s been come here once a week for the past 7 years spending on average £55.00 a week.nBut over the past 12 months he has noticed their bad manners and rudeness from the owners so he has decided to go elsewhere.nAlso the quality of the food is appalling not as good as it used to be.nHopefully the owners may learn from their bad manners and poor quality of food and smaller portions for more money.nAs the customers are not stupid .nThat my friends are the owners stupid fault.
Very good chips with a good range to choose from. The Angel Fish Bar seems to focus on fresh kebabs and burgers. The burgers appeared to be the normal price and kebabs seemed to be quite costly, but the quality is probably high which would explain it.nnPortion-wise for large chips was good and the chips were very good. Hot with a nice crunch and soft in the centre.nnThe sausages were a good size and seemed pretty cheap for what we got, £2 each in May 2024.nnThe Angel Fish Bar had no scampi, but did have cod and haddock.nnTheir is no wheelchair access and on-road parking is limited. Excellent fish and chips. Best I've had in a long time. For the portion sizes and quality the price is reasonable.
Very nice chips, friendly staff.nCash only but a cash machine around the corner.
