The Angel Centre in Tonbridge is a great place. A reasonably priced centre to exercise. The gym is well equipped and so many other classes and activities on offer. There is something for everyone.nnI was told the other day that it might be closing - I do hope not as this would be a disaster.
Quick and helpful staff at the desk at any time the center is open. However, it must be said that the layout of the overall building is incredibly confusing and requires some getting used to. Though there is sufficient space for indoor sports such as volleyball and badminton, the walls on either side could have been pushed further back for extra space and its sometimes somewhat likely to hit a ball too far up into the balcony or the ceiling. I do quite like that the courts are separated by nets rather than hard walls as it does catch balls easier. Overall, great location and great halls. It only falls short with its architectural design.
£19.30 for 1 badminton court and 2 rackets for 1 hour absolutely ridiculous price and businesses wonder why they go bust
