loved my double chicken burger. loved that you can choose your own toppings too. it’s probably a little over what I would normally pay for a burger so be prepared to look deep into your pockets. and be prepared to wait when it’s peak time but these burgers are made fresh and the flavour is worth it. I had double fried chicken burger with loaded fries and ginger beer surprisingly flavoursome compared to other gingers! we went on a saturday night at 7 so peak period indeed. we didn’t wait long but had finished our drinks by the time our meals came. and I know other customers waited quite a bit longer than us. but I would still go back. my burger was tasty and the others I saw they looked sumptuous too.
I heard about this place when it was pretty new. All my mates went there a few times before I got the chance to go myself. Very highly rated by by my mates, I had to check it out. When people go on about how good a place is, it usually doesn’t meet your expectations as you expected it to be perfect in every way. I have to say this place didn’t let me down one bit! The place looked good and clean, the staff were very friendly and the food was 11/10! Burger was “BANGING” as the name suggests! It was full of juice and flavour, and every bite was as good as the last one. Gourmet burgers are hard to make like that as usually the middle don’t taste like the sides of the burger. The chips were perfectly salted not too much or too little, they were crispy and they still had the skin on them! Their choice of drinks is out of the ordinary. This place stands out from your usual eating places! I’d give more stars if I could! My mates and bro told me their consistency of great food is always on point, so I’d definitely recommended if you’re in the area. And if you’re not in the area then I recommend you to travel here to try this place! It’s worth your time and every bite!
Wonderful, brilliant, delicious are a few of the words you can use to accurately describe the burgers Andy's cook up for you. From the excellent quality beef to the soft buns and various toppings, the small menu means they concentrate a lot more on perfecting the few items they serve.
Alright hear me now, it was my birthday not that long ago and I decided to hit up Andy’s Banging Burgers, a place that has been referred to as the ‘halal Five Guys’—of course, I was required to find out for myself if that was the case. I didn’t really believe they could compete with such a well-established fast food restaurant, but I had some hope and choosing to go there on my birthday was already a big thing and I was honestly really excited to try it.. The staff were friendly and accommodating; almost a necessity given that most people were ordering customised meals, which I believe warrants a great deal of patience. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue, but I understand that they were busy with what looked like Queen Mary students, their campus being not too far away from the restaurant. I got a double patty burger with a lot of toppings and sauce since, just like Five Guys, there’s an unlimited amount of both that you can add to your burger. Presentation therefore was a bit of a miss on that account, but as there were a lot of toppings in the burger I won’t criticise that too harshly. I can, however, complain about the patties, which weren’t very good. They were under-seasoned and quite flimsy, breaking apart as I ate. The flavour, too, was severely lacking, and couldn’t even be aided by the sauces I got chipotle mayo, burger sauce, and a tub of barbecue sauce. On top of all of that, the cheese wasn’t great either. If you go there, I would suggest choosing your toppings and sauces wisely. Perhaps going simpler would be best. 4.7/10 Fries After a disappointing burger, I was pleased to find that the fries were pretty decent. They were skin on fries just like five guys, slightly salted and of an portion surpassing most fast food restaurants. Maybe next time they should leave them in the fryer for a bit longer to enhance the crispness, but they were decently fluffy resulting in them being quite satisfying. 6.4/10 Pineapple juice One thing I can say about this place is that their drink selection was brilliant. Though they’re not refillable, they were very refreshing. Perhaps getting a refillable drinks stand is something to consider, but first they would need a a bigger place as the location was quite small. 8.5/10 Overall culinary experience score: 5.6/10 For more reviews check out my insta sjtalks_
Wow wow wow!! The fried chicken burger was definitely bangin You can add unlimited toppings/sauces with lots to choose from. The standard chips that come with the meals were seasoned well, and had a nice crisp to them. I’ve enjoyed it more than the cheesy chips. The service was outstanding. Great, friendly staff. Honestly, a must go to place for a tantalising burger!!
Over hyped, over priced, under delivered. Burger was mediocre at best, poor seasoning and strong gamey taste. Loaded fries were dry despite being loaded with sauce and cheese. Milkshake was okay. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have a discount code or something.
Food: delicious chips, the burger was tasty but what ruined it was the cheese. It was more like a sauce, and not good at all. I love how customisable it is. Service: outstanding. The cashier was super friendly, patient and kind a guy in front of me turned quickly and bumped into my baby's buggy so the cashier asked me if I was ok and brought the order to my table, plus held the door open for me on the way out. I'll come back and order a burger without cheese :
Andy's Bangin' Burgers has been much spoken about everywhere so I had to try it. I must say that they probably have the best beef burgers in London, at a reasonable price. Ofcourse you can find tastier, but that will be a higher price range. There was good customer service, the place was nice and cosy, and the burgers, fries and milkshakes were all spot on! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone to try out! Happy hunting foodies!!
Love going to Andy's! Always getting their burger meal deals at lunch breaks during uni. The burgers are so juicy with amazing toppings and the chips are so good. Their mango drink is heaven .
Great customer service, food was nice with a unique twist on burgers unlike other places around. Plus point on not playing any music with adult lyrics which most places cannot seem to go by without despite families and children around. However let down by argument between staff in the presence of customers which felt uneasy. Seating can also be improved.
