We could not have wished nor hoped for a better service than we received from Andrew Smith Funeral Directors in looking after my late mother’s arrangements. From getting initial guidance and advice and right through to the funeral service day, we could not have faulted the efficiency, courtesy, gentle control and total professionalism of all members of staff. Words cannot express how much we appreciate the excellent service myself and my family received from Andrew and his team following the unexpected death of my husband. They were thoughtful, caring and so compassionate. Nothing was too much for them. They listened without judging and offered advice without pressure. When our mum passed away we went directly to Andrew Smith who from the very start was a true professional. Andrew and all his staff could not have been better. They guided us through the whole details of the funeral explaining everything in detail and Andrew recommended a brilliant vicar Rev. Phil Williams who could not have been better. The staff were there at any time so we could call them if we had any questions - nothing was too much trouble, they were all very caring, thoughtful and above all very considerate of our feelings as a family and especially respectful to our late mum. Andrew Smith was highly recommended to us as he had served faith funerals in our Jain community. Once we met, we felt comfortable he understood and respected all of our beliefs and traditions. My father passed away at an early age, Andrew and his team took a lot of pressure off us as a family on the day of the funeral and prior and took care of us with the utmost empathy throughout. We needed to use the services of a funeral director recently, Andrew Smith was recommended to us, the service we received was very good, the team were professional at all times, very respectful in caring for our loved one, considerate to our thoughts and taking all the stress out of a very upsetting and difficult time for us all. The service we received was above and beyond what was expected, often giving more than we intended, from a bouquet of flowers for my mum, to little funeral favours for the guests. I cannot praise Andrew Smith and his staff enough for their kindness, understanding and caring after the sad loss of my mother in law. The staff were very friendly. Welcoming and made us feel relaxed and at ease immediately. Their guidance was a great help to us and nothing was too much trouble. Andrew Smith Funeral Services ASFS are an extremely professional well managed and caring team. They recently organised my father’s funeral and they were exceptionally professional, respectful, treated my dad with dignity and wrapped around us all their amazing pastoral care and support. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were faultless and everything was professional through and through. Based in Macclesfield with beautiful premises for families to come and be welcomed into a very homely room, whilst they discuss their wishes for their deceased loved ones. ASFS go the extra mile in caring for bereaved families with a pastoral side to their work which is often much needed and well received. I have worked with them as a minister here for nine years and they have always been consistently professional, pastoral and respectful. Can’t fault these guys at all. An amazing team.
