An excellent museum wit a really interesting section on Danebury hill fort with a reconstruction of the wall, storage pits huts and so on. Other exhibits on Iron Age life and agriculture. There is also a temporary exhibition room which often hosts original artwork for sale. There is a small natural history room as well as local exhibits from Andover. They have a gift shop and second hand books for sale as well as a cafe. The museum is staffed by a mixture of paid staff and volunteers. There are often special activities and work sheets available for children. Also my so works there!

Fantastic museum, kids really enjoyed themselves and the history. Staff were brilliant too. Highly recommend.

Great museum for all who love iron age and would like to learn how our ancestors lived at the nearby Danebury hillfort.
