A lovely & unexpected find in a quiet residential neighbourhood. A bit on the pricey side though but lovely oat milk cappuccino with walnut & coffee cake, even if the cake was a tad too sweet. But lovely relaxing atmosphere provided the other customers aren't speaking too loudly!
We brought an elderly relative for a Christmas breakfast for old times sake as it was his late wife’s favourite place. There was six in our party…4 arrived at 11:40…the other 2 were delayed in traffic. We had to ask to be served coffee and were never given menus. At 11:55 we asked for menus as we knew breakfast ended at 12:00. The remaining two arrived at 11:58…and we were told breakfast was finished. When we protested about this and explained we were there since 11:40 - we were abruptly told “well they weren’t”, as he pointed to our friends. The lack of willingness to do breakfast for us, especially our 86 year old relative, was so rude and showed a total lack of customer care.
Food is very overpriced and mediocre. Also cannot understand why the door is always left open regardless of the time of year - always feel when I'm there that I'm sitting in the middle of a field. The other Anderson's is the same.
Nope I won't be back here again after today's experience. Staff refused to allow us order actual items on the menu because they were in the 'additional options' section which they decided is only for adding on to an existing plate of food. A friend didn't want the bacon and hollandaise that accompanied the poached eggs so she opted for toast and butter and a poached egg from the additional options. They point blank refused, both waiting staff and kitchen staff. So the alternative was supposed to be pay almost €12 for an egg and leave the remaining ingredients uneaten. Sharp practice at its worst. So my friend just ordered toast. Cafe was cold...no heating on, place was almost empty which I've never seen before but now I know why. I'll spend my money elsewhere where staff will not refuse to serve what's actually on their menu.
A nice restaurant located on the Rise in Glasnevin. I went here for breakfast and I had scrambled eggs and bacon which followed by an almond croissant. I was impressed with the food on show and I would recommend a trip
This place never disappoints and only seems to get better. The specials are always worth having, as are the wines of the month. It all adds up to great value for money, considering the quality and range on offer. I had the Mexican bean soup and stuffed chicken breast with tagliatelle - out of this world for flavour. The service is top class and v friendly. A big bonus is that the background sound is chatter underlaid by music rather than fmq1-0-whatever blaring. Don't pass this place up if you're passing by. Great even just for a coffee
Eating at Andersons was an absolute pleasure. The food was amazing and perfectly cooked, quick to be served and great portions. Their staff are more than happy to assist with anything you need and more. Would gladly revisit again
Incredible Gourmet sandwiches. The chicken and Applewood cheese was absolutely unreal, and comes with potatas bravas. Very delightful little spot. Well decorated, very quirky.
Can't compliment this place anymore had a chicken burger and can say its the best burger I've ever had fantasticFood: 5/5
I ate breakfast here scrambled eggs + bacon and it was very tasty. They had some good looking cakes; I bought a slice of a chocolate cake +cherries. Yumm
