The charming black and white building known as the Ancient House is among the principal attractions of the town of Thetford in Norfolk. Indeed, it probably ranks as one of the best examples of an early Tudor town house in East Anglia.

A smaller museum but full of interesting features and displays of the past.
Would definitely recommend a visit to this museum and the staff are always welcoming/professional.

Had a good morning there with the Anglo Saxon and Viking activities.  This is really a really worthwhile museum to visit, especially if you have the Norfolk Museum Pass.

Interesting, a discovery of Thetford, a place id never known anything about. Worth the effort to visit.

A great museum for children to visit. I take my 2 year old and 5 year old to all the trails.  They love learning about all the different subjects. The staff are friendly and helpful as well as encouraging the children to explore.  
The annual family ticket is a bargain!
