The staff from waitress to the owner and also the locals made our experience outstanding very warm and welcoming. Nothing was of any trouble they were superb. This place is a beautiful warming place to go with children and also to take your wife out for a stunning meal and evening. Highly recommended

Visited The Anchor for lunch with local residents.  A really enjoyable experience - good beer, well presented tasty "home cooked" food. I have never tasted a gammon like that.
Change of owners last year and what an improvement they have made - not just with the food - decor too.
Good views of river Avon and lost of outside seating for when weather improves.

Lovely atmosphere and decor. Menu promises much but food does not really deliver and is a tad expensive. Service was good. A pleasant place to sit and enjoy the river in nicer weather.
