I went with my family today to open our first fast. Resturant had roughly 15 to 20 customers. Food quality was very bad:cold, burnt and old food. No deserts at all really. The only things that were sweet, was the cake that had been already half eaten. On top of that, it was sitting there for a good 2 hours and nobody took a sinlge piece. The manager was also very pedantic. When we gave him constructive feedback, we were returned with him being rude by saying things like "ramazan is about patience" and that "grilled food is meant to be burnt! Outrageous.. We will not be coming back again.
7 of us ate here. The interior feel is definitely budget. We decided not to have the buffet and ordered from the menu. The food took a little while to come but had definitely been made fresh including the popadoms and starters. The mains were good and we took the leftovers home. Rabica was a lovely waitress and very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Everything with a friendly smile.
Last week my FIL ordered food from Anams for a family dinner. Both the service and food provided by Mr Azam, Mr Zaheer and Mr Hamid. The food was fresh and delicious. Everyone really enjoyed it. Thank you for the timely and exceptional service, as always. Will definitely be ordering again.
First time went to this place in Bradford...no negatives to report Excellent food Excellent staff Rubi worked happily serving as am not the easiest person when it comes to food Affordable Good facilities The kids lived the fountain and water fall Would definitely consider going there again Inn shaa Allah Vegetarian options: All food desired was available Kid-friendliness: Kids facilities and food also available Parking: Free car park plenty spaces so lucky for new years eve
Delicious foods at a very low cost including deserts and ice cream. Eat as much as you want. Plus very friendly and lovely staff
I went for the buffet. Quite mediocre, nothing special. But I would say its decent for £15 a head.
disgusting ice-cream; sometimes looks don’t count so very deceiving. BUT THE MEAT SEEKH KEBABS WAS AMAZING, THE MEAT PILAU JUST TASTES LIKE MEAT PILAU, kheer was also lovely. this was all free by the way after 7pm in the buffet. MEAT LASAGNE WAS LOVELY, MASALA WAS FISH WAS CRISPY WITH PENGASUS FISH, chips were like mahmoods but not as well but it was really scrumptious, felt really out of place though so I didn't fetch the ketchup. food is not that cold but the noodles were cold and didn't really taste of anything. unless you're white, they'll be good and just fantastic. THE CHERRY TOMATOES ARE NOT CHERRY. THEY ARE ORANGE. the poppadoms were nice. this is all true by the way, let's be serious. CHICKEN TIKKA BOTI TASTED SO SO LOVELY. I HAD SIX NAANS WITH MY LITTLE BOWL OF HALEEM. OH THE HALEEM THAT WAS LOVELY. meat, chicken and whatever haleem is meant to taste like, it was 20x nicer. brown onions and sliced ginger come along with it.
Would give it no stars if it was possible. As we entered the restaurant at 5pm the staff were sweeping the floors and cleaning as customers were sat on tables normally this is done before closing for the day when all customers have gone Food was not fresh as it was cold but I can almost guarantee most it was leftovers from the day before as every dish had no taste. Lamb Karahi and chicken in any dishes were not cooked properly at all. The only things I enjoyed were kheer and gajrela Staff were ok and friendly, credit should be given where it's due I've visited Anam's after 3 years and sadly it has not been a good experience and don't think I will be coming back anytime soon. I hope the owners can make improvements as it once was a great buffet restaurant.
Have been eating at this place many years. When you first come in you get the feeling it's a traditional looking place that has some modern amenities. However closer looks says otherwise. The food is always nice and the place bodes well for large crowds and gatherings. Top it all off for those who love social media there is a main pond with some koi fishes in the middle of the main dining hall. Will eat again and have them organise another event of mine. I also would like to thank Sajjad and his team for making extra effort to make my walima perfect.
We ordered the buffet meal and there was so much variety and everything was really nice. So glad we came. Would definitely come again. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. What more could we ask for?
