Convenient for the library, theatre and shops. Large open space and a new children's play area including a zip wire. Photos are from 'People Speak Up Street Play', Llanelli based community hubduring the school holidays.
We had a great time. It is an excellent park for splay play and picnic.nMy toddler enjoyed it and we appreciated the benches under the trees shade.nEnough bins to easily clean after picnics.
Ammanford Park, nestled in the heart of Wales, presents a delightful escape for visitors of all ages. Its well-maintained grounds exude a sense of welcoming charm, reflective of the friendly community it serves. Cleanliness is a noticeable priority, ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone. The park boasts an array of facilities catering to diverse interests, from playgrounds that spark children's imaginations to serene spots ideal for contemplative relaxation. Whether for a family outing, a quiet stroll, or engaging in recreational activities, Ammanford Park emerges as a gem, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and community spirit.
This park is nice but it can be messy and a few rides are broken but the tennis courts and the field are really nice also there is a water play area called sea scoundrel and it is a really fun place for children so the only problem is the broken rides and the mess
The only saving grace about ammanford park is the actual field area which is kept immaculate. The children's park is destitute, dangerous and a public safety issue, numerous complaints have been made to the council and they have no interest in investing into the community. The splash park which when it was first built was a huge success but again the council failed to maintain the upkeep. There are soo many other parks that are SAFE for families to take their children. And there is no free parking other than late in the evening.
