Stopped in for a coffee and a cake and both were spot on. Friendly service. Really enjoyed my coffee and coffee and walnut cake and there were a bunch of different coffee options to try. Brunch/lunch options sounded really good. Hopefully next time! It's a small place and we sat out in the garden which was peaceful and warm under the shelter. Recommended.

How there is not a queue going down the road and round the corner for this place is beyond me! Amid giants and idols is a FANTASTIC cafe with insanely good breakfast. And coffee. Myself, my husband, our infant daughter, my mum n her friend all loved the food, atmosphere and the young couple that run it. Not local but would travel down to Lyme from Devizes JUST to come here...
Tom the owner is completely an integral part of the coffee experience. And the coffee is just amazing. Tom has 6 different beans and is happy to recommend depending on your tastes. The house blend is more than decent so you can’t go wrong with that either. Not at all the place for a Starbucks clone, but if you want a cosy time with lovingly made brews do not hesitate to pop in, say hello and enjoy!

Amid Giants and Idols was just down the road from our holiday cottage and knowing they had vegan cake called for cake and coffee on our arrival day as it was raining cats and dogs. Lovely cosy cafe with outside seating on fine days playing really good music in the background but not distracting. The vegan pear and almond cake with a decaf coffee was fantastic, light and moist with delicious caramelised pears. Will be back as they said they could veganise sandwiches too.
A little gem of a coffee shop! Lovely relaxed ambience and the coffee and cakes were superb including lots of vegan options! Probably the best cake we have ever had, we had the vegan lemon and blueberry cake... Really friendly and helpful staff too.. Can't recommend enough.
A wonder place to grab a coffee and something to eat. The staff is knowledgeable about coffee and is happy to give recommendations on there options. They have a dairy free milk option and even vegan cakes! Highly recommend the Dorset apple cake. The seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
Beautiful espresso, the courtyard is so cute and a perfect sun trap in the morning! The staff who I think are the owners are absolutely lovely too. Up there with some of my favourite spots in London.
