Nice sized carpark close to the shops that has free parking for 30mins inside the yellow bays, plus good prices for the chargeable bays.
Decent car park, fairly cheap, although has had a small increase recently. Not much else to say really. There are some public toilets but these aren't always open due to vandalism
Whilst usually a car park, we visited here for the Amesbury local Christmas Fayre & turning on of their lights. What a truly delightful experience. Much effort was made with some great stalls offering all sorts of artisanal goods, as well as several entertaining stalls for younger family members Bronco Billy, Police Patrol, characters on stilts, candy floss etc & a bar, hot food & great band with a Rock Choir just in front. A brilliant effort by all making start of season a fantastic one. This was evident by all the smiling faces . Well done Amesbury!!
This is a very busy car park especially during school times, but if you do get a parking place it can be free for a short stay or reasonable priced if not. There are not that many places allocated even if the car park was empty, but the location makes it ideal for nipping into Amesbury for any shopping you may have. It can also be a bit of a chore to get in or out of because of through traffic on 'The Centre/ Salisbury Road' however, all things considered worth the 4 star's and the effort to get parked up.
Easy walking to centre of town and shops, although shops are very limited and not somewhere I'd personally shop with some indoor facilities very run down and well worn
