Really helpful members of staff who are pleased to accommodate. Bought a second hand driver the young guy who sold it to me made a big effort . So I.paid what was on the price ticket did not haggle just in case he got a percentage of the sale. Worth a visit. All.i need now is to buy myself a tidy swing. !!
Really helpful when I asked about custom fitting along with a new set of clubs.
Got a fitting around 2 months ago here, hit a few balls and got sold an off the shelf set of clubs with the advice that, because of my height and swing speed I would only require an off the shelf set. Wasn't getting on with them for a good few weeks, was actually hitting my old clubs better so was reverting back to them. I came back in to check, things like swing speed etc, convinced something wasn't right - but apparently it was. Ended up selling them and got a fitting elsewhere.. With the trackman technology elsewhere my swing speed was apparently 15mph faster on average meaning I was meant to have altered shafts and I was actually 1/4 length longer than advised too... I'm comparison to this other place the attention to detail was non comparable. I don't know if as a relatively new golfer they saw me coming and wanted a quick sale. Go elsewhere for a fitting, not here!
Good knowledgeable, polite and helpful staff, went in for a fitting for 2 fairway woods, the guy spent time with me correcting a few things in my swing AFTER my fitting which he didn't have to do, - I was so grateful - it helped me loads and made a big difference to my original fitting which he done again for me - then a couple of weeks later they helped me with a club return and even offered to lend me a club until mine came back - that to me is top customer service and that goes a long way with me, this is why I decided to write this review and will continue to use this branch - hope they keep these staff members together. they are a credit to American Golf and by the way I believe its Steve who helped me with my swing, thanks for the help, I took your advice it to the course and it definitely helped me, I owe you.
Very helpful good customer service
Booked to try a few drivers out and I can't say enough about the help and advice I got when I turned up. Wade was awesome, took him five minutes to figure out exactly what I needed in my game and then moved on to finding what was perfect for and he really knew what he was on about. He didn't just tell me what I needed but explained why it worked for me which was a massive plus for me. Would recommend this place to everyone looking for new clubs.
I visited the Cardiff store, a friend recommended this store to me a month ago to look at options for beginner/improver golf sets . The staff were very helpful, patient with my questions as a beginner and willing to explain my options without any pressure to buy. I returned on 30 Sept to investigate and potentially buy a set. Despite the store being busy, the manager was extremely helpful. He took time to check which set would suit me, let me try various clubs to work out my requirements and ordered 2 sets to be delivered to the store so that I could try each out in order to be sure I was happy with my choice. I was contacted as agreed to let me know the sets had arrived on time. The manager again made sure he was available to help me as he has made all the arrangements. He took time to assess various clubs from each set using the golf system there, almost gave me a lesson as he took me through the checks on my swing and was patient, friendly and happy to explain the advice and why one set was better for me. He was willing to price match but this store was giving the best price. Overall, I received an excellent service at all 3 visits and would recommend it.
Great welcome, good deal on my Trolley , accessories, bag and umbrella. Jack is a cracking lad who delivers on his promises. Good attitude.
