Taking a shower and finding some tranquility is the best way to end an overnight flight. The lounge was almost empty when we arrived. We were able to grab showers without having to wait and I then enjoyed Eggs Benedict from the à la carte menu. There was a small breakfast buffet too, fruit, yogurt, smoothies, and coffee machines. The lounge has tables where you can sit to eat and some comfortable chairs too. Delightful people working there. The lounge is on the 2nd floor and a short walk after exiting Customs.
This is a highlight of the American system. Great showers, a really nice made to order breakfast or buffet, and friendly staff. I’m so glad this is open again as it makes a London arrival so much better!
This is a new lounge with the first class due to open sometime in november Nice amenities friendly staff great selection of drinks. Food is good ambiance is quiet I look forward to my next visit. If you're flying in Business class and have access to this lounge, don't bother getting the arrival meal. Nothing beats the fantastic eggs benedict that is served here! The Bloody Mary wasn't the best, but it's a great way to enjoy the arrival experience. The staff is very friendly and I found the lounge to completely empty when I arrived. I definitely look forward to my next visit to the lounge!
Nice relatively small arrivals lounge. As you exit customs it's to the right and you need to take the lift up. There is a place to store your luggage. Showers are fine, clean and large enough. There are some amenities like toothbrush/paste missing. Dining area with buffet and a la carte options. Due to late landing I arrived there after 1pm so almost had the place to myself. Staff are friendly and helpful
I thoroughly enjoyed the arrival lounge. The customer service was wonderful, Our eggs Benedict and champagne were delightful. If I could change one thing, I'd add some comfy chairs!!
Surprisingly good experience. Not a big lounge to hang around, but very good breakfast options and great clean showers, much better than the BA arrivals lounge.
Good, however you cannot bring any guests. They got 25 showers. You seem to not be able to get into the admirals club in arrival which allows guests.
In most cases, I never receive a response from AA on reviews, good or bad, but here goes. American Airlines Admiral Club members and travelers beware. They change the rules when you leave the country. My wife and I were told only EPs or First Class travelers are allowed inside, AND they have a NO GUEST policy. We were traveling from LGA to RDU through London Heathrow and eventually Amman Jordan. We just wanted to take a quick shower, but we were politely informed we weren't allowed to enter. So unlike the other 5 star reviwer, where he had wonderful Eggs Benedict we had to suck eggs!
Staff areovekt and very welcoming , not too busy in the morning and the breakfast is awesome. Showers are very clean and we'll serviced.
