When I needed a last-minute alteration to my wedding dress, Katherine was more than happy to help. She provided such a warm welcome and was a true reassurance in all the busy preparation for the day. I was thrilled with the belt she added, and she made the whole process very straightforward – a fantastic plus! I would thoroughly recommend her dresses and her alterations to any future brides.

After two failed dress attempts and no idea as to what to wear for my wedding day - I found Katherine at Amelia George Bridal in Tring I’m an older bride and wanted something more appropriate for me, not too sparkly and it had to be sophisticated. Katherine immediately put me at ease, she worked with me to choose my perfect dress. She guided me through my choices and after one consultation I came away with loads of ideas and a positive attitude to something that is very daunting. Her calm and thoughtful persona really helped me with this nerve wracking process. When I had chosen my dress, she helped make it just right for me, I trusted her every step of the way and she did not let me down She also helped alter all my bridesmaids dresses and made us all look amazing. She also gave advice on hair accessories and also a jacket so she can help with all choices. I had so many compliments on the day. Thanks Katherine for making my day absolutely perfect !

Amelia George Bridal was the first shop I visited when wedding dress shopping and it was a great experience. Katherine is such a lovely person and really makes you feel special when trying on dresses, but importantly was not at all pushy. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted. I had a festival style outdoor wedding so it was really important to me to have a boho style dress that fitted with the theme and Katherine defnitely took the time to pick the most suitable dresses for me as the third one I tried on ended up being my dress! I knew from the second I tried it on that it was the perfect dress for me, it was absolutely beautiful and I instantly couldn't wait to wear it on the day. I then went on to have 3 fittings, each of which Katherine was so helpful, understanding and calm, making it a lovely experience for me and my mum who came to each with me. Katherine is clearly an extremely skilled seamstress as my dress needed several alerations, including removing the whole train, and the end result was the most perfectly fitting and comfortable dress. I think the fact Katherine does her own alterations is a big advantage for any bride, it makes the whole experience more personal and ensures you feel completely comfortable with any changes made to your dress. In summary, I cannot recommend Amelia George Bridal enough, she has a beautiful and varied collection and is great to work with!
