If you are thinking of using this company. I would strongly advise against it. They advertise as being a customer friendly company, however, they are anything but. There are to many issues to list them all. A couple of the most shocking were, the removal guys failing to use carpet protectors and marked the carpet, when I advised the owner of this he said "It's your word against theirs" I was also told that as the surveyor never attend my property the terms and conditions usually applied did not apply to me. Others include, turning up on the day and refusing to do work until I paid more money, disappearing for an hour whilst I stand waiting for them, claiming they got lost. (I was moving 5 minutes along the road) etc. I only post this so that others do not make the same mistake as I did and hire this company.

This is a bit late for a review. Our move from Surrey to Scotland happened three years ago but AMC Removals were able to come back to move our piano again for us recently, free of charge! All contents for our move arrived intact. Apart from the furniture and putting the piano back together, we opted to open up all other boxes ourselves. They were most helpful and polite. A brilliant job done. Highly recommended.

Used the AMC storage facility as well as their removal team. Excellent service and great value for money. We were very happy with the AMC guys who delivered everything to our new house from storage. They did a great job. Only 2 of them but nothing was too much trouble and they were extremely careful and friendly. Can’t ask for more. Can’t remember their names but you must know who they are. I think they more than deserve their ½ day off. Thanks again.

We used this company a couple of weeks ago to move house. On packing day they were quick and friendly, on delivery day they were quick and tired.Delivery was chaos with boxes in the wrong rooms, heavy boxes packed on top of boxes marked Fragile and access blocked all over the house. The garage looked like the end of the load had just been thrown in. I suspect that the original estimator had underestimated the number of man-hours and transport capacity needed for the move, Based on our experience, we certainly wouldn't recommend them.

The team were excellent. It was a long distance removal and they made a long day really easy. They were considerate of my pets needs and emptied a room at the start for me so i could let them have space to stay calm while the busy work was going on and it was the same at the other end. Excellent service by everyone in the office too. Really happy and will definitely recommend AMC to anyone who needs their services
