Story

We are a small animal and equine clinic based in Worcester. We treat cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds(including chickens and water fowl), rodents, reptiles, snakes, tortoises and horses. Recently we've even treated deer, goats and monkeys!!!
The Clinic is open 8am-7pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12pm on a Saturday. Appointments are available between 9am and 11am and also 4pm-6.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am-12pm on Saturdays.
Apart from these times a veterinary Surgeon is always available to see your pet in an emergency! 24 hours a day 365 days a year!

Awful experience My dog was injured here during a routine anal expression. Since then we have had problems. I saw head vet Ian in which I have a recording of this appointment and he did not listen to what I was saying to him and was rather rude and sharp with me. He totally denied it was the problem and pushed it back on me and said it was what I was feeding her. I took her straight to another vet. Finally got to the bottom of it, yes it was her anal glands. Her right anal gland is now deformed and will be removed. She is finally getting the right antibiotics to help stop any infection. The blood is clearing up now and she is now on the mend. Amazing what the right care and a place that actually listens. We all make mistakes but how I got treated and the fact my dog was not getting the care she needed and I was paying for is just not right!!!! Hurt and upset is an understatement with this place!!!!! I have used you for over 10 years!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

Thank you so much to Zoe the vet and the 2 lovely ladies on reception today for helping my little 4 month old puppy. Zoe is incredible and really cares/ I love her approach to customers, made me feel much more at ease leaving my puppy in her care. I will definitely request Zoe again.

Ambleside vets, looked after our beautiful cat while she was sick over Christmas. She was 15 and very much part of the family . They did everything they could for her . We were heartbroken to have to say goodbye to her this week . Lauren and her whole team were courteous and caring throughout . They allowed us to spend time with her first , and to be with her at the end . They truly gave her the best medical care , and were so sympathetic at the end . I cannot thank them enough. I would  highly recommend Ambleside vets . Who have treated our beloved Twinky over the last 15 years . Thankyou x

We can't rate this practice highly enough. Ian went above and beyond with my mum's dog who had a very difficult condition to diagnose. The team provide exemplary care for our dogs. We would not go anywhere else.

Cannot express my gratitude enough to this great practice. Took our 7 month old puppy in after vomiting a weird foreign body, but over the next couple of days this then turned into aspiration pneumonia, and the staff were just so on it the entire time. I felt like they took us seriously straight away & thankfully, due to how personable they are, could see that our puppy was not himself at all. As he stayed in overnight, the team updated us a few times which really helped our anxiety over the whole situation. Even then dealing with our insurance, they had great advice for us and just the way they handled it really was fuss free. Our boy is on the road to recovery & it’s definitely all thanks to this great team.

Very caring vets. Gave good advice for my cat who was suffering from stress. Able to fit me in at short notice.
