I absolutely love the food! from the starters to the desserts. good home cooking at its finest, freshest ingredients too! the owners are a joy to speak to, you feel very welcomed and spoiled! definitely will make a monthly habit of eating there. Trip is well worth it!
One of my favourite places to eat, their pasta dishes are fantastic. Staff are always friendly and willing to please, and the chef is more than happy to take into account any requested variations to the dishes you order. Only a tiny restaurant, so the atmosphere is always calm and cozy. I only wish they did a longer lunch session, as the 2pm close is far too early when I want a late lunch on a weekend.
My wife and I have been coming here for many years, and the experience is always excellent. The classically Italian menu has a wide choice of pizza, pasta and mains, and is reliably well prepared - a particular favourite is the lamb chops. The service is friendly and attentive, and the price is reasonable - in particular with the various 2-3 course deals available at all times. We feel better supporting this local independent restaurant than lining the pockets of Pizza Express or Ask.
The best restaurant in London! From A to Z. Excellent service, great ambience, good prices and food .... to die for. Everything is always very fresh and tastes delicious. Cakes are home made as far as I am aware. Once I was oferred free bottle of wine for waiting for the table. That tells you that the owner cares about his clients. Advice - call before to book a table as they get busy at times.
an excellent restaurant, for both quality and price. nothing is too much trouble. we asked for extra spicy addition to the pasta, and this was done willingly. prices are very good. a lovely local restaurant. recommended!
We have been coming to this restaurant for a couple of years now and it is our 'go-to' place! It never disappoints. The food is delicious and fresh, the staff are lovely and we love the ambience of the restaurant. We have never not enjoyed an evening here, every meal has been perfect and would highly recommend.
Good selection of pizza and pasta. Freshly made to order. We reserved a table and the manager was very organized about having the food ready when we arrived. Nice spot for lunch as they have an excellent lunchtime special.
Went there for lunch today and had Spaghetti Marina. The best food I've tasted outside Italy. So, exceptionally inexpensive, mouth-wateringly delicious and fantastic service - you can't go wrong! Plus it was hot today and they have great aircon. Everybody, give this place a try; you won't regret it. I'm going back tomorrow!
I have been going to this restaurant for many years and having read the last review , just wanted to say that I have never been disappointed in the quality of food and service as well as the pieces, what I wanted to add was I know that the restaurant makes there own dough as well as there own pastas every day so it is as fresh as you can get . I will recommend ambiente with no hesitation.
I am perfectly comfortable giving this venue top marks and i would go as far as to suggest that this the best Italian food I have had so far in London. The pasta I had was excellent. I cannot wait to return again to sample some of the other dishes!
