Had haddock chips from here for the first time on Friday, recently moved into area. Bloody marvellous,  both fish chips and lovely light batter. In addition the guy was so friendly and helpful I recommend it unreservedly. Also well price great value. Don't miss out on this local gem.  Steve

Great tasting fish and chips. Reasonably priced.  Impressive service: on a Saturday night, we rang in a complicated order for 11 people, and it was ready twenty minutes later, and presented to us with a friendly smile and banter. Very obliging.

I've been traveling across the UK for a month, the Cod and Chips here were some of the best so far. Very local, the employee maybe owner greeted by name everyone but me on a Saturday afternoon

Lovely gluten free fish and chips available  all the time, just order in advance. Other GF meals also available, would highly recommend to anyone needing GF.

2nd time we've been here, food is absolutely the best..everytime we come to Derbyshire we will get our fish and chips from here, even if it means travelling a few miles!! Update - we now visit here everytime we are in peak district it is the best Fish and chips we've ever had!

We ordered a Haddock, a portion of Scampi, a portion of chips and a curry & peas. Every thing was cooked to order and perfection. The fish fresh clean and white was wonderful,  the chips crispy. I can't recommend this chippy enough, simply one of the best we've visited and we have done 100's

this is one of them chip shops that you rarely come across they make fantastic fish and  chips. We travel 20 minutes each way to go to this chip shop to buy our food as the fish and chips are fantastic. well worth a try because once you have tried them you will always want to go again.
