The Ambassador is a hidden gem. A proper family business, the welcome is warm, the breakfasts and roasts are wholesome, well cooked and huge. Great value. There's also snooker tables and a bar they even do salads and stuff but l was too busy eating my roast dinner :
Great atmosphere and food. Staff very pleasant and helpful as well.
Great breakfast. There were six of us in the party but they all came out at the same time within an acceptable length of time. What a great way to start the day.
Top Sunday roast
Nice place to randomly pop into on the whim, providing there's not a competition on or an event there's not normally any need to book any of the tables here. I have been here at a family party before and the setup was quite good as well. Beer prices weren't too bad either.
Went in for breakfast. it's a cheap breakfast at just under £7 and there is a bigger one if your very hungry. I only give it 4 stars because there are better places about and it's lacking in light so a bit dim on some tables plus it's a family place with young kiddies about.
Never let's me down for a good fill English breakfast. New lay out for pool and darts etc, still can play snooker! Staff are always friendly and family's always seems welcome. Beer garden in the summer, generally a good all round venue
Lovely friendly staff. Wonderful family who own it. Breakfast is fantastic and the Sunday dinners are probably the best on island
Love this place. There cooked breakfasts are amazing. Everything is great value for money and has a wonderful family running the business. No faults
Lovely staff and atmosphere highly recommend. Easily the best Sunday lunches on the island.
