We love bringing the family here. It's fairly local so it's great to spend a couple of hours when the kids are at a lose but the is enough to keep them entertained for the day if needed. Big cats are stunning and the parrots are beautiful. There is a gift shop that always has the boys want us to part with money and there is. There is also an indoor soft play area.

Not very impressed seemed a little run down considering only 10 years old. Animals did look well looked after. Map not very good as a couple of other people commented. Did not see any keepers around to even ask questions did not seem to any facilities for gift aiding like other parks and zoos. Only one person on gate and on leaving did not even thank you for visiting.

Not a bad morning out. A fair bit to see but I wouldn't say a whole days worth. We went on a cold foggy day but still got to see all the animals, recommend a visit there are is a play equipment for the kids and a soft play area, the bouncy pillows were closed as it was to wet but look like they could be fun

Brilliant for a cheap day out. Half the price of Colchester zoo and still a decent day out. All the animals were available to view even if they weren't in their original cages. The cafe food is nice and reasonably priced. The indoor play area is small but does the job. Would definitely suggest wearing wellies though as it is quite muddy if it's been raining.

Great place for children to see animals from South America, for children to play - great outdoor play area and the indoor play area is one of the best I have seen. The cafe is good. The staff are friendly.I feel if children are involved in a visit, it is good value for money. I loved being able to see a puma and jaguar in real life, but their enclosures were way too small. The jaguar was showing signs of distress - permanently pacing and snorting behind the small bamboo screening area within its enclosure. There is lots of unused space, surely the big cats and theceagle could have larger enclosures. On the whole, great for people, but not for all the animals.
