It is funny how people think they're doing a good job and earning some money, neglecting the fact that they are being used by amazon given over 40 packages sent all over the region, and drive for constant over 2 hours for £26 in team valley, the same for byker with a slavery nightmare pick up.. Making a bald predator the richest in the world.. what a life lol
Today I was at a group interview for amazon Sunderland, a man whose first language was not english turned up with his baby as he thought only dropping documents off and was obviously turned away for health and safety reasons, he looked so broken, a gentleman stood up and took the man to his car where his partner was waiting and she watched the baby for over an hour happily, danny and his blue haired partner you are the kindest couple I have ever seen and amazon are very lucky to have you!!
Amazon its self is a pleasure to work for all of my work mates are spot on and everyone is dead friendly the only thing I can say is that they need to change work agencies I worked for pmp recruitment and if the did not pay you your wages they were takeing shifts off you at at very short notice and trying to get intouch to see what is happening is a struggle within its self all an all the Job is a good one to have but the agencies is a total waste of time.
Awful place to work, I have worked as a delivery driver since September 2020, the last few months has been nothing short of a joke, routes massively increasing yet we still have the same amount of times to complete, routes taking us all over the place instead of just flowing through the streets, working out of multiple bags instead of finishing off one bag then moving onto the next. Amazon say, there looking into it and it will change however its just getting worse, honestly it's the worst job I have done and the stress of doing the job is not worth it.
Great place to work. Pleasant and helpful staff and best working environment I've seen. No compromise on safety.
