How to start, I guess with the welcome... Old school Indian restaurant styling with traditional meet and greet to set you up for the treats to come. In our case the all you can eat buffet... There are two choices on the buffet, with bar included or food only. If you are on soft drinks then go for food only as non alcohol drinks are very reasonably priced, however if you are going to have a couple of drinks then it is worth investing the extra couple of quid and go Large There is a time limit on the free bar of two hors but not on the food. They do serve a particularly cheeky house Merlot here which I would recommend as a companion to the selection of Indian curries. The food was very delicious and well prepared and presented with a large variety of both Chinese and Indian style foods to try. There were couple of personal disappointments at the buffet, only a single choice of rice, only chicken curries and the hottest curry available was a chicken Jalfrazi. Desert was also restricted to glazed ring donuts which upset the Grandkids but thankfully more choice was available from the main menu at an additional cost. A really nice touch was the waitress letting us know our free bar was almost up and would we like to have one last round before the tab ended, oh go on then... All in all a very enjoyable dining experience, even with the restrictions, we will definitely visit again but next time I will go a la carte and get some lamb Vindaloo in my life Photos by Jonah Parking: Plenty of free parking
Have been a few times here. The staff are really welcoming and nothing is too much for them. I sometimes ask for modifications to my curry and they have always done it without problems. The food is outstanding, it is served promptly too. The decor is really authentic and creates the perfect atmosphere. Their all in one banquets are brilliant value for money too. You can chose between Thia food or Indian. For the 2 hours the food and drinks are limitless. Brilliant Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options available Parking: Loads of parking, never a problem
Lovely food and big portions for a great price; highly recommend the set menu which has great offers Mon -> Thursday. Had Dupiaza, Rogan Josh, Masala, Vindaloo recently and all lovely. Highly recommend Parking: Lots of spaces
We’ve been to the restaurant a fair few times with friends as it’s perfect halfway house for us to meet. We also introduced the restaurant to family and now they are hooked. The food is always a great quality and always tastes fantastic. The owner and staff are lovely, We’ve tried the buffet and the main menu both are great. We always leave very full! They have just started doing cocktails which was really nice when we went last night for my birthday. Can’t wait to go back! Bar the place looking dated, the seats are a tad wobbly. It’s a great place to eat. Highly recommend Kid-friendliness: Loads of high chairs, changing in ladies toilet and staff always make a fuss of our daughter. Parking: Plenty of parking outside.
Received a warm and friendly welcome. Great food and great service. My young Grandson wanted a Nan bread that wasn't on the menu which they made for him. We have takeaways on a regularbasis which are good value and good quality but eating in the food was even better. Good sized car park and family friendly.
From the moment you walk through the doors, everyone is so lovely and welcoming. You can't complain about the food at all, everything is absolutely gorgeous and cooked completely fresh! Whenever a curry is in order, this is the place to go to. Thanks for your hospitality! Vegetarian options: There are plentiful amounts of options for all kinds of dietary requirements Parking: Easily about 30 cars
Absolutely fantastic! We booked for my Dad's 60th birthday , 16 people in total , 5 kids aged from 16 to 2, and my disabled brother, The food was fresh , curries were banging, can not fault anything! A warm and friendly welcome The food was so tasty and full of flavour, from the poppadom starters, to the other starters as you do to the main meals, full of meat and veg, piles of rice and sauce! Honestly I'm a big eater and I came away full/ stuffed and well fed! To service was fast and cooked fresh, the staff were so polite and well mannered, And then to top my night off 50% off the food bill! A fantastic night and we will definatly be making a return! Kid-friendliness: Great with children and a menu to reflect this, kids were made to feel so welcome Parking: Loads of room to un load a pram and wheel chair and car doors wide open! Plenty of space Wheelchair accessibility: A wheelchair and a pram, fantastic customer service Dietary restrictions: My brother can not eat dairy, fish or gluten and he was made a delicious dish and nothing was too much trouble, The fussy kids were catered for with great simple food!
We have eaten here a good few times, ordered different curries and have never been disappointed. If we have asked for a variation of the curries it has always been done to our taste. The staff are all very polite attentative and genuinely interested in making sure you are well looked after and made to feel welcome. The portions are generous and all of the food and was delivered hot with no long waiting in-between courses. Thank you. Parking: Loads of parking,,never been an issue.
