Great portion size and tasty food in this quaint bistro. Very friendly and attentive staff. A couple of the tables were a bit wobbly
Dog friendly, lovely food and good service. They are cash only but there's a cash machine in the co op across the road.
Had a HUGE breakfast here Staff forgot my toast but soon rushed to fix it Great staff Must go if you're around here
Lovely food very freindly staff and dog welcome
Very friendly staff, our party which consisted of 3 had the haddock and chips and nut roast as the vegetarian option as the other options had stood out. The haddock and chips were very good, the batter was crisp and dry which is the best way to have batter. The chips were good as well although maybe a bit soft for my liking but not too much so. The nut roast on the other hand was not to taste of our vegetarian, the texture was off and it was dry from what I was told. For dessert I had the bread and butter pudding which was very good, and would recommend to anyone. Overall I would recommend this place to other people but I would probably not hurry back as I can get fish and chips in most restaurants/cafés. Also they didn't take card either so that is worth bearing in mind if you don't usually carry cash.
Had afternoon tea here on a lovely summer's day. The garden out back was beautiful, the staff were friendly and it was all very pleasant. My only complaint would be they're a touch pricey, though no extortionate. Would definitely go again!
Just had a smashing lunch with my mother, ordered a panini expecting a squashed sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by how much meat and pesto they fit between 2 pieces of toasted bread. Huge portion sizes and great value for money!
I particularly like going here for salmon and scrambled eggs on toast - basic but tasty. Good coffee. Nice outdoor area when the weather is reasonable.
Fantastic all day breakfast choices, along with a good range of other dishes, lovely welcoming staff, cosy and a nice armosphere. Highly recommended
Good breakfast, well priced, friendly staff & interesting decor. Does not take plastic, which is either endearing or irritating. There is a cash machine in the Co-op just around the corner
