I got a large kitchen that needed a complete overhaul. So had a big DIY store to my home where they designed it and in a few days I had the list of all parts, prices and the design. It was costing just little over £6,000. I thought it was reasonable as had included an induction hob and a A rated integrated appliances. I couldn't afford the stores own kitchen fitters and so phoned a company. They called and said they would get back to me in a few days. 1 Week went by THEY DIDN'T CALL! So called someone else, they called and he told me he would call back in a few days. He did and his labour cost was £3750. I thought I guess that's the price of todays installations. So said I will let him know, but will be phoning around for others. Pegging washing out and started speaking to my neighbour, he had mentioned Dave from Am Pm Plumbing & Electrical Service. He swore by Dave as he's had work done previously. So phoned him. Dave called that evening as promised and he was very tidily dressed for a tradesman, polite, he even took his shoes off and I didn't ask him to! Anyway, so far soo good, he looked around at the kitchen and the plans and list of items. Measured things and took notes. He then said it's no problem in doing the job and when would I like it done. I told him I have to buy the kitchen in a few days time as the proposed list and plans is valid for a fortnigh, and it's only got a couple of days left. He said can I borrow them and get back to you tomorrow evening. I said not really as already been let down and if I miss the fortnight, I'll have to start again. He just said trust me I'll get back to you tomorrow evening with a price for everything. He seemd so nice and looked honest, I did actually trust him and with what the neighbour said, lurking in the back of my mind. Next day, he did phone as promised in the evening. My deadline on the kitchen has now gone to 2 months! instead of the 2 weeks I had in the beginning. I was happy with this, but asked how much his labour would be, he said I can fit it all for you for £2800. This wasn't the best bit, he also managed to get the kitchen list prices instead of the £6000+ he got it down to £4900, I was speechless. Not only was he almost £1000 less than the other company, but also £1100+ less on the kitchen, than what I can get kitchen for. This is over £2100 saving. Anyway enough on that, just over a month later of accepting him to do the job, my kitchen is in. It's stunning, and working beautifully. David is a real gent. There's was a little more work to do in my wiring as it wasn't up to standard to run the new hob and over, but Dave included this in his price and it all works wonderfull. David isn't a carpenter, but he's as good as, with how the units and counter tops fit together. He was punctual, polite, as clean as possible with this sort of work, and his communication was superb. I made a mistake, and have decided to have spot lights put in after the kitchen is done and am getting Dave up to do this for me shortly. All in all, you be mad not to have him and better still now he give you a discount card for life and so can use it as many times as you want! A true gent. **************************************************************************** I have had my spotlights put in and Dave advised on a dimmer switch. So went with this, it makes a massive difference to the look and feel of the kitchen. As usual Dave was brilliant. Before he left he said anything I want, no matter what it is, just phone him first and see if he can help. **************************************************************************** Google only allows me to give 1 review on a company or place. So this is 1 review, but have had 3 job by David, and will carry on using his company for any or my home needs. Me nor my neighbour can't recommend him enough. Thank you David, Louise - Pontardawe
