This practice and their practice in Gosport have cared for my dog Milo for the last 11 years. Sadly we said goodbye to him on 23 September '24 at the grand old age of 16. I'm taking this opportunity to thank the vets, nurses and support staff for all their great work over the years. I'm very thankful for your service; thanks very much .
On site parking, easy access, within village shops, Very friendly and supportive staff. Appointments easy to book and reminders received. My pet and I are made to feel welcome and valued. My pet is well cared for and I always feel the best options and solutions are offered. Nurses and vets always answer queries clearly and no question is a silly question. It is clear how much they love animals. As a member of the Healthy Pet Club I receive absolute value for money. Nothing is too much trouble.
Recently had to bring my 22 year old cat in for an emergency appointment, due to her not eating and having trouble walking. We unfortunately had to have her put to sleep, but the vet I believe her name was Amy was very empathetic, reassured us that it was quick and painless, and talked us through exactly what would happen. It was a very hard thing to do, but the whole team did their best to make it easier. Thank you again.
Just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful vet who saw Pepper this afternoon. What a breath of fresh air she is. So gentle and kind and caring, and went out of her way to make sure that Pepper was as stress free as possible. Thank you so much for such a positive experience for me and Pepper.

Alver Vets in Stubbington. The staff, nurses and vets are exceptional. They go above and beyond to help me and my dog Alfie. I have mobility issues and they are always ready to help with delivery of Alfies tablets. The staff at reception and on the phone are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Also the team at the Gosport branch where Alfie goes for any procedures are the same. Brilliant treatment from both branches. Thank you. Karen hammacott. xxx
Extremely rude receptionist, very aggressive manner! She told me they were running six months behind with annual jabs, when I questioned if this was safe for the animals she became very angry and obstructive! The receptionist informed me that this was because they didn’t have any vets but they were recruiting two vets soon! Extremely disappointed with this service.
Not very happy about the service we are getting. we have five cats and will are still waiting for there vaccinations which is now coming up to 18 months. We are paying money out each month and we are not getting the full care from the vets. If we don't hear from them in the next 2 months we will be on there case to get our animals removed and go somewhere else as they are not thinking or caring of the welfare of our animals.
The staff are great in here fitted my cat in as it was essential he was seen with the chat my husband had on the phone with the receptionist. He was given a good look over then given lots of meds for the next week. I then had a follow up phone call to check on his progress. Thank you Alver Stubington as my Garfield is much better now.
With strict covid protection in place they will only allow 1 human per pet at the moment. However, the care and attention given to the animals is second to none. Also, the staff take great care to ensure that the owners fully understand any and all instructions to help them care for their animals. Our Jasper wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
