A first visit to the Garrick and definitely not my last. A fabulous evening from start to finish, ample parking and a smart, clean venue. The show Martin Toal was excellent, showcasing some amazing talent full of variety and a Last Night of the Proms Finale with the whole auditorium on its feet.
Fabulous place n the staff n the manager so helpfull n beautiful inside I would recommend this wonderful theatre with some fabulous shows on enjoy
The Chinese Acrobatics Extravaganza was very well preformed, they worked so hard. I loved it. Unfortunately the theatre itself was cold, which didn't make for a comfortable viewing... hence 4 stars. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
Great that smaller theatres like this still exist and attract good acts. Good seating but gets a bit hot when full!
A good local theatre. The shows are fairly diverse and the acting is high quality. There is a cosy bar downstairs which is open before and after the show and during the interval. There is a second smaller theatre where the youth company and smaller shows are played.
The family went to see Alladin for the Xmas panto. We have come here, every year for 5 or 6 years..loved the performance but wish they would sell hot drinks.xx
First visit to this theatre and impressed. Pleasant staff, nice old school theatre atmosphere. Ice cream a bit pricey though!
Lovely venue, great sound, good size stage, nice cosy bar downstairs, nice staff, great range of events.
First visit and would go again. Comfy seating, not too big a place. Ability to order a drink was a time saving bonus. Only gripe is the crush to go to the toilets. Barry Steele and Friends, aka Roy Orbison, what an act!
