I booked my Bianchi road bike in for a service with Altrincham Bikeshak, I'd just come back from a cycling holiday on Anglesey and I knew it needed certain parts replacing. I had purchased the replacement parts off eBay as they are getting harder to obtain. Simon had no problem fitting owner supplied parts. The rear wheel needed to be sent to the importer for a new hub to be fitted, I fully expected to be without my bike for a while but was amazed at how quick the turnaround was. Simon kept me informed by phone and email at each stage of the process and could not have been more helpful, I highly recommend Altrincham Bikeshak!
Don’t do reviews very often but the recent help from bike shak was fantastic. They were able to fit me in on the day after I had a crash. Checked over my bike and fixed the problems from the crash and a few other bits and bobs that were also needed practically serviced my bike at very short notice. Thank you - amazing help.
Fantastic service, friendly staff and a great selection of bikes. SO much better than the junk you find at Halfords/similar places. These guys know their stuff and the shop is awesome.
Bought a bike from them years ago for my daily commute. It and they have never let me down. Had my latest service done yesterday and it feels like I’m flying on my way to/from work. Great friendly service and wouldn’t go to any other bike shop. Brilliant!

Really great LBS. Been in a few times over the years and always helpful and pragmatic - no BS. Most recently on my way into work in Altrincham from Staly I hit an ill lit kerb crossing Oxford Road and totalled BOTH wheels. Made it to Alty by train and dropped my bike in. 24 hours later its back with new wheels and tubes, looking better than before. Really delighted with service and Ben's always a treasure. He was suffering a bit with a bad back at the time. Hard to imagine how good he'll be again when he's recovered. A great shop worth going out your way for.
Great service and outstanding quality of work. Arranged a full group set re-build and the result has transformed my bike. The team kept in contact and updated me on progress really well. Their suggestions on options were great with sound advice but no pressure to go for the expensive options.
Can’t speak highly enough of Simon. The man’s a wizard when it comes to fixing bikes. This is exactly the sort of place people are talking about when they say you should support your LBS.
A huge help diagnosing the rear derailleur issue on my bike. Will definitely be going back once the parts arrive. Great service!
