I had previously posted a poor review based on the actions of one individual (Ian in Complaints) because I had issues with the radiator and the response was extremely poor. I am pleased to state that Wes and Jay really picked up this issue when I escalated and took the car in, managed the problem and returned the car to perfection. The follow up and after service by Alton Cars as a whole was great - shout out especially to Wes and Jay. It just goes to show that this company does care and the actions of one individual shouldn't reflect on the company.

The repair to my car was very good the staff was very good and helpful took a little longer than I expected but they was very busy thank you Alton

Shocking customer service and quite a derogatory attitude towards women, intentional or otherwise..

Lack of information regarding when repairs would be completed..

Given the opportunity, I would not take a vehicle there for any type of work..

Shame really..

Can I add that today 20/12/17 I have been inundated with calls from Alton cars wanting to fix the issues we had encountered last year as the person I had dealt with has now left and Alton cars think the review that's been written is unfair. 

Well just because someone has left doesn't make things better, it doesn't make the damage that Alton Cars caused to the inside of my car disappear and I will not rewrite a review because I have told the truth and you don't like, it's a pity you weren't this bothered a year ago when you could have done something!

Some garages are excellent. .but few and far between. .some insurance companies use cheapest...you have to refuse inferior work ..don't sign anything. .demand your insurance supports  your satisfaction. ..remember the value of the car plummets when trading in...my friend had 3 resprays before satisfaction. ...my car is silver..so as near as a bad garage can get. .next time ill pick the repairer....best ones are Sheffield and Leeds. .BUT NOT ALTON..
