Alrewas Fryer

Not enough words to describe the quality of this cod, thick fillet, with a crunchiness that melts in your mouth, a delight, I ordered it with salad because it was very hot and I was surprised with a simple but fresh and appetizing salad and it came generously and accompanied by a lemon slice. The village of Alrewas is beautiful and special just like this cod.

We came to stay in the area from the East Yorkshire coast. We are truly spoilt at home when it comes to fish, so have very high standards and are wary when having Fish and Chips anywhere else. I can honestly say that this chippy has some of the nicest fish I've had in a long time!!!! Even the Gyros where delicious, will absolutely be visiting again when back in the area. Thank you for feeding us!

Absolutely lovely Chip shop , food is always fresh and delicious and the Irish curry is amazing !!! Would definitely recommend I travel 20 mins because it’s just the best I’ve tasted ! staff are always friendly and smiling

Almost 5 stars, food superb, let down is the difference in pricing between online and in the shop. Example £5.50 advertised mini fish n chips, £7 in store.

Excellent, classic, English fish and chip shop run by friendly, efficient staff. Our cod and chips lunch was obviously freshly prepared and tasted fabulous. Kebabs also available.

I have a kebab I asked for a large one but they didn't do large but the bloke behind the counter said they are I wasn't very happy I go to queen's fish and chip shop in Lichfield they do massive kebabs in naan breads they are beautiful

We used the online app to order our food and when we got there I was very happy we had, it was very busy!! Despite this our order was done on time and beautifully fresh. I had cod and chips and my partner had the new gyros box. We were both very happy with our food. The fish was delicious and very filling. I will definitely be returning!! Well done all the staff on your top 50 award - how lucky we are to have this in the village!!

Just had a Donna kebab from here worst one i have had in years, very little meat, had one from here a month ago it was packed with meat and salad, if i lived close i would have taken it back.

Lovely staff and the Fish and chips were out of this world. Large cod is indeed large and very tasty. Had meals for four of us and we all said how nice it was. Some couldn't eat it all as large portions. Kid-friendliness: Very friendly . Nice people. Parking: Parked outside
