Great weekend camping at alpine Grove. Lovely little shop recommend the sausages and seeded loaf. The showers were lovely, powerful and hot. Owners are very friendly and helpful. :)

We have been here 3 times staying at the lodges.. there are 4 .. our favourite is hedgehog lodge.. lovely setting. Great owners. Secluded area..

Location was lovely but it was to just overcrowded. When the owner told us more families were due, after booking and paid for 7 days, me and my daughter left and found somewhere else.
It's great if your up at 6am and still awake gone 12am with kids running around, shouting and screaming. Wasn't the piece and quiet of the countryside we we're looking for.
About average for facilities, pool is really small, it's just to overcrowded with cars, tents and people.

My family and I had a truly fantastic weekend at this campsite! Lovely little site that is family run - they have a little shop with a small selection of things that you may need, a small heated outdoor pool (which was a great hit with the kids), a small park and a little woodland walk. You can hire fire pits for the evening and they get them all set up and give you a tub of wood to burn with it - perfect for a chilled evening! There is an electric gate at the entrance of the site and is fairly local to the supermarkets and town etc. Will 100% be returning to this site again!
