An excellent find good choice of breakfasts and drinks. Excellent welcome from the staff and great suggestions on menu choices so will be coming again. A place to explore food knowing all the choices are a safe bet. Encourage others to try before it proves too popular again
Absolutely gorgeous selection of cakes, pastries and sandwiches afternoon tea. Visited with a large group for a birthday and the service and staff were amazing. The live music was really lovely and just the cherry on top of the whole experience! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to enjoy finger food as a light lunch, delicious scones, and a lovely atmosphere!
Unique restaurant. Food was served hot and fresh. Very tasty vegetarian breakfast for myself and a gluten free salmon crepes for my partner. Staff were friendly and attentive. No parking as it is the city however easy to get to. Menu has a great selection and a tea menu Would visit again
Absolutely delicious afternoon tea with amazing choice for vegetarians! Would definitely visit again, the drinks were lovely and for the price I was very pleased, we had a wonderful time! Thank you.
Lovely little place for afternoon tea, staff are so friendly and attentive. Booked a table of four for my sisters birthday and they kindly, without even asking, put a candle in her scone and played a happy birthday song. Everyone made us feel so welcome, I would highly recommend
Eggs Benedict opted for the option of bacon instead of ham with a side of mushrooms. The food was piping hot, eggs runny as I like them and truly delicious. A Cappucino which was also hot and tasted extremely creamy. service was spot on. Just felt the ambience was not really french as Le Chalet would suggest.
Food was very good and well presented. The vibe was nice. The halal sausage was nicee. Company was nice. Everything was nice. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
First time experience sadly didn't go as well as hoped for. Read raving reviews of the afternoon tea here and I was left wanting. Missing saucer, chipped jam plate and tea pots that are impossible to pour out of without covering the table in tea. Afternoon tea for 18.45£/person was a let down. We were a party of 4 ordering 2 afternoon teas to share. When ordering it was a bit difficult to put our order in due to this sharing. When the afternoon teas arrived the croquet looking canape was under seasoned and falling apart. Smoked salmon sandwiches still had the brown salmon bits in and were incredibly soggy and also falling apart just like all the sandwiches included. Meaning they were premade and sat for a long time before arriving to our plates. Staff were lovely and trying to make up for the short fallings of the food as much as possible. Parking: Parking is not available directly next to or close to the place. Your best bet is Trinity Car Park. Dietary restrictions: They have a good selection of Vegan and Vegetarian options they can do only Diary free options as well best to check with staff when your ordering and make them aware of your dietary needs early on.
Myself and four friends visited Le Chalet on Saturday afternoon for the bottomless brunch. The food was divine, the drinks excellent and the service magnificent! Great location and after getting a glimpse of the cakes on offer and some of the other menu items being served we will definitely back to sample some more of the menu!
Fabulous Parisian restaurant. We visit every time we go on a shopping trip to Leeds. Nermine and her team cannot do enough for you and they bend over backwards to help you. The food is first class and the location is central so stopping in for breakfast before a big shopping trip is so easy. During lockdown, we even had some patisserie delivered to our home and that was just as beautiful as the food in store. 10/10
