Highly recommended! We have used Almora several times to board our cats, and it was clear to see that Rocket & Scampy had enjoyed their stay this year. The owners are passionate about caring for their guests, the pens are spacious and clean and the grounds are well maintained, we even received an update with photos on the second day which was a really nice touch and put our minds at ease. I wouldn't dream about taking them anywhere else!
Easily found and located. Excellent clean facilities. I was a bit apprehensive about leaving my cat as it was our first time. But by the time I left I was full of confidence and made to feel at ease by Jen and daz. Even got some nice pictures and an update the following day which was a nice surprise. Just booked again for our July holiday.
Friendly, caring staff, cats have plenty of room and are well cared for. Have used this place a number of times, would always recommend them
Absolutely fantastic place and the couple who runs it are genuinely so caring towards all its residents. I’ve only used a cattery once before and she came back underweight and in a mess. So as you can imagine I was very reluctant to use a cattery again but from my first contact with Almora, I was made to feel at ease. They answered all my questions, wanted to know about Belle, her likes and dislikes ect ect. She can be a very shy cat and they have individual rooms with inside and outside areas that are a little more out the way but they also have rooms that are in the thick of it for the more sociable cats. Both Darryl and Jennifer are lovely and you can see they genuinely love what they do. I even got an update from Darryl the day after to say that Belle had settled in and he also sent a picture. This was very reassuring. Will definitely use Almora again.
Cat seemed to have enjoyed himself when he came home. Owners are friendly and knowledgeable.
Lovely enclosures, very clean and peaceful. Owners are very friendly and helpful. My cat was happy with owner and went to him instead of me when I picked her up! Definitely recommend.
We booked our two cats in at Almora cattery again as we have a few times now, whilst we went on holiday to Spain. Whilst we were away, Katy contacted us as she was concerned that our eldest cat Alicia appeared to have an upset stomach. She made prompt action in taking her to our vets, and after receiving medication, she was back to her normal self. We were worried whilst on holiday, but Katy kept us notified and reassured us that Alicia was doing ok. I would highly recommend Almora, Katy & Phil are great at what they do and our cats have now got to know them and there doesn't appear to be any stress when we take them there.

Beautiful place with the most caring owners. We leave our two cats knowing they will be extremely well looked after. When we collect them they are always groomed, settled and happy. It's great to have somewhere we can trust so we can enjoy our time away. Couldn't recommend them enough :
Super cattery. I have been using Almora for 3 years now. My 3 cats are always happy & i feel really at ease leaving our 3 fur babies with these lovely people. They are always very accommodating. Absolutely lovely surroundings for our cats to sit and watch the world go by. Highly recommended!
