Best Indian restaurant in Sheffield. I have not been to Almas for a while and it was definitely worth a visit. I had some popadoms with a selection of dips, a flavourful starter and delicious main course. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff are great! To reiterate, Almas Indian Brasserie is the best Indian restaurant near me and by far the best Indian takeaway I’ve had in a while.
Food is amazing, tastes nice great customer service would highly recommend
Brilliant service and fantastic curry and draught cobra, will be going back.
Absolutely love it every time we go, from the ambiance, the lovely staff, the food, you get the whole package of a lovely enjoyable evening out. We have king prawn rezzala rice of different choices, chicken livers or lamb chops with salad after enjoying different delicious starters. We aren't hurried out after finishing eating either so we can finish our drinks at leisure. Each dish is of ample quantity so your not left still feeling peckish when leaving. We highly recommend Almas to anyone wanting the perfect Indian cuisine experience.
Really nice food freshly prepared in nice surroundings with brilliant and friendly staff where nothing is too much trouble makes for a perfect relaxed evening. Used many times over the years and it's consistently good. You won't be disappointed.
Great food with great service. The staff are just so friendly. Definitely recommend
Went last night, fabulous. The food and service was 1st class. Cant wait to go again.
Almas is the best Indian we have been to in Sheffield. The staff are so friendly and the food is incredible. If you love Indian food you must try here!
Just wanted to warn other people Went to Almas restaurant in Dore today... Have been there millions of times without issue Today was told they had a "no children policy" and asked me to leave their restaurant within five seconds of walking in and would not allow me to feed my daughter in the toilet cubicles while I waited for my dad to come and get us. My sister who is extremely calm and passive ended up in tears and I had to feed Maya in a graveyard while I waited for my dad to come and get us. Have worked in the catering industry for ten years and never experienced this level of rudeness and disrespect, ruined our whole evening and wasted money getting a taxi there. There is no mention on their website of children not being welcome. She's two weeks old, only cries when she's hungry. It's against the law to stop someone from feeding their baby in public. I'm a new mum and it's scary going out with the baby, I shouldn't have been made to feel like this and just want to avoid others going through the same thing. Also they don't mind people drunk out their faces because of course they rack up a substantial drinks bill.
Had a nice meal last night once the noisy, foul mouthed, rough group had left from the large table anyway. The food was very nice and the service was good. Would be 5 star but no dessert menu.
