It took me a long time to find this beautiful coffee table and truly unique. The delivery people were great and put the table exactly where I wanted it, first class service and will definitely use them again.
Bought a gorgeous set of 2 coffee tables, paid for express delivery and received the item in time for a family gathering. They look amazing and I'm really pleased. The customer service was excellent - speedy responses throughout.
I don't understand how this fraudulent "company" is allowed to continue to trade. If you make an online purchase be prepared to spend vast amounts of time over many months chasing up a non existent item, then chasing up your refund which you will end up retrieving through your bank's involvement. My bank told me I had fallen for a scam where a company takes your payment but does not fulfill their side of the transaction and obtained my refund several months after my initial payment was made. Be warned - avoid this seasoned operator who has nothing to learn - but I have learned a lot about protecting my finances through my dealings with her and won't make the same mistake again!
I ordered a sideboard around the value of £1278 and the store agreed I could pay over 3 payments to them direct. When it came to making the final payment, I struggled to get hold of them Oct 23 as they were not responding to emails/answering the phone. I put a claim in with my credit card just as they responded so I cancelled the claim and made the final payment. I was told the delivery would be a few weeks and I still had no official order confirmation or tracking info. After those few weeks, I emailed and called for an update to no response to date. I have now claimed with my credit card company and got all the funds back. This company is a scam and I wish I had read the other review first before giving them my money. They also put a closing down post on your Instagram on September 6th, only a few days after taking my second payment. Never mentioned this on the phone!
Their B star courier service is as bad as Allissias attic customer service responding to any query. I have been asking for an invoice for 2 months now, weekly and getting 0 responds. It is a shame as their products are nice but would advice buying elsewhere. Don't expect the delivery to arrive as they promise and be prepare to chase them. I called the shop too only to be advised to email, can't win. If anyone wants to responds to this, my order UK #15070
I so wish I had read these other reviews before placing an order for a settee costing £1560 with Allissias Attic. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I awarded one star because I could not post my review without doing so, a minus figure would be more appropriate in my opinion Before I ordered the settee I was told the item was in stock with delivery 7-10 days. After the purchase it was 10-14 days, then they had no idea when it would be delivered as they never had the stock at the shop and the supplier was not responding to their enquiries. They offered a cancellation which I accepted. The refund did not arrive as expected, I chased and was advised it would be 7-10 days as they alleged that they had paid for the settee in advance . The refund did not arrive, nor was any communication so I had to raise a dispute via my credit card asking them to enforce a claim under section 75 of the Credit Consumer Act if necessary. Today my credit card upheld the dispute & refunded the £1560. I honestly believe that had I paid by cash debit card or bank transfer I would have had to take legal action to recover the amount I paid. It's been a very stressful few weeks but I now have the settee from another supplier. It cost a little more but worth it for first class customer service. My advice would be to avoid purchasing via Allissias Attic remotely.
Hi guys, we have ordered and paid for over 7k worth of furniture from your store a month ago. Since the order, we have received no correspondence from yourselves despite multiple calls and emails. We would really appreciate it if you could return our communications, moreover, we would also appreciate the safe delivery of our order.
absolutely delighted with my service. I phoned the shop before i ordered on line and they were fantastic. My purchase only took three days as they stated it would to arrive and although it was large but very delicate it arrived extremely well packaged and in perfect condition. The delivery person made me open it in front of him as the owner of the shop was concerned that it arrived safely. I would definitely use this Company again and i will also be recommending them to my friends.
11 Oct - I placed an online order. 12 Oct - Allissias Attic gets in touch to say it needs two weeks to bring the stock into the UK. Fine by me 1 Nov - I chase order 2 Nov - Response: "We hope to have the delivery this week - will send out as soon as the stock arrives with us" 9 Nov - I ask if stock has arrived. No reply 11 Nov - I ask to cancel my order as it has now been a month since I placed it 12 Nov - snippy response: "I advised on the 2nd November that the item would be shipped as soon as we received the stock - this is coming from Europe so please understand the delays associated now. I'm happy to cancel your order - sorry you are not willing to wait." 16 Nov - I receive my refund minus a £3 "merchant fee". I am told this is because I'm the one who cancelled the order. I know that it's only a few pounds but this seller has now really annoyed me. After sending several emails requesting my £3 back all of which were ignored, pointing out that the site's T&Cs mention nothing about retaining a merchant fee, I finally got it back through my credit card provider. I usually try and support small businesses but my experience with this one has left me scarred. Eventually, I bought my item through Amazon for the same price and it arrived three days later. Do yourself a favour and don't shop here. Or, if you do, pay by CC and hope you don't need to use its awful customer service. An awful retail experience
I try where ever I can to support local businesses. I purchased a dress yesterday in ALLISSIAS ATTIC, Church Street Twickenham, despite being asked to pay cash which I didn’t have, the label being cut out & the owner being reluctant to give me a receipt. As there were no changing rooms I was advised I could get a full refund if I returned it within 24 hours – which I did today & was told I would have to return another day or have a credit note as the owner couldn’t work the machine for a refund. Even though I was busy I went away & ask her to call me as soon as she sorted it out. After over an hour I returned to the shop where I was bluntly told “ I didn’t get around to calling you” when I asked her if she treated all her customers like this she said “I have a bolshie personality – take it or leave it” – she then mocked me as I left – the shop was completely empty when I arrived & left – not really surprised !!!!! I just know there are so many struggling retailers on Church Street who would bend over backwards to get a sale.
