On my first visit Kam and Maggie were great and helped me to sort which type of carpet and the measurements. I ordered the carpet on our second visit and again Maggie was super helpful showing us different carpets and explaining the choices and giving my son time to choose without any rushing. The carpet was ordered easily and fitting all arranged. It was a really great experience and I will definitely use United Carpets in Chesterfield again.
We went in to get a stairs carpet and hallway flooring, Darren was very informative and helped us with our choices and when he priced up what we were having it seemed very reasonable for the quality we were purchasing. As a result of Darren's help, advice and knowledge we placed an order as we were very satisfied and we look forward to our new carpet and flooring. Thankyou David

I have used united carpets for over 20 years I would not go anywhere else the staff Sarah Maggie and Darren make the shop they are so helpful and always go above and beyond for the customer those 3 staff are your united carpets amazing and the quality and price is fantastic
Was desperate for 2 carpets to be fitted the day after ordering them due to my house being empty asked if that could be done as the furniture was due back Monday and the lady was very accommodating. Advised us well on which carpets were hard wearing and thing this particular one didn’t need underlay. We were very happy with the outcome and was thrilled when the carpets were delivered and fitted on Saturday. Will definitely be back for my next carpet
Was originally sold on having Kitchen and outhouse fitted with the outhouse having plenty of cut left for under stairs area. We were specifically told that there would be enough offcut 2x2m room with an order of 3x2m to fit under the stairs section. Theres even more offcut than this as theres also a double cupboard, but ignoring that... After being overcharged in the first place, then messed about with install times and waiting weeks with no contact, install day came and we now have 3 cuts patched together to fit the area. We chased this to get some explanation only to be told that there wasn't enough spare as it used the remaining 1x2m just to line up the pattern, even if this is true, it doesn't take into consideration theres a double cupboard in the same room with more or less similar space to the under stairs. After all this, no offer to rectify after specifically being sold on the fact there would be enough flooring to cover this other area, but offered a measly £30 off of a next order. Reply Update: The space under the stairs is barely half of 1x2, I’m aware the full cut wouldn’t be left that’s not what I’ve explained, nor what I was told at the point of sale. As I also have stated, yes under the stairs was fitted, using 3 different cuts in an area not even 1m wide. You’re trying to respond in a way that is ignoring points I’ve made and trying to focus on points like 2 weeks is a fast turnaround, my point wasn’t the time to install if you read correctly; it was that nobody made contact for weeks after paying for the order with any eta then upon chasing was told different reasons as to why, or ignoring that there is also double cupboards in that same room which take out a similar size as the under stairs. This is just the fitters not being old what the original plan was and that I originally went in to order the length which would fit under the stairs, to be told not to as there would be enough remaining to cover it which there would have been if the fitters were informed prior You’re basically saying “well we fitted under the stairs so that’s a good thing , doesn’t matter it’s in 3 seperate bits after being told it would be enough” & “Waiting weeks & weeks with no contact & no idea of what’s happening is extremely quick because it’s a special order?”
Enjoyed our first experience we bought our choice we shall return in the future thank you
The service was very good , once we had chosen a carpet the staff soon got it sorted for us , we now wait for it to come in shop and discuss a fitting time .
The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They always give good advice and recommendations. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for flooring now.
If you are wanting a friendly welcome and experienced staff go to United Carpets on Whittington Moor in Chesterfield. Sarah could not have been more accommodating, she is knowledgable and guided me to the best deals in the shop. I carpeted a whole house last year and had vinyls too. I was so impressed I have gone back for them to do another whole house for me. So whether you need flooring for one room or two, or a whole house, don't look anywhere else until you go look at what they have in stock, prices to suit all pockets and a warm welcome guaranteed.
